How far would you travel for a collarme gathering?

I have met some really interesting people here and am wondering... how far would you travel to meet some of your favorite 'posters'?

i had hung out in a chatroom for 7 years and they had parties all over the country.  i went to new york, miami, and los angeles.    i would presume it depends on disposable cash and whether a person really cared about the people they spoke with.

I'd go anywhere if I had the time and the means as long as it had a cushy hotel and wasn't in a war zone.

Right now I'd be ok with going to San Antonio.

It always just depends on time and money.  Of course I can always make the time, if the Ranger can make room for Me in his suitcase!

There are so many of you all whom I have come to admire.. I would love to meet and really talk to you (over one or several glasses of wine).

I was just wondering how base the conditions and how far  you would go to see how a face moves when you talk to it.

i think it'd be interesting to meet the people on here... see who they are....

be abit unnerving for me as, i'm a tad open here.... ha

but i'd travel down to my nearest city = )

i've a UM and i dont leave her behind.  No way in hell would i leave her for days to go somewhere.  BUT if i was already traveling and something was going on, i'd prolly stop by.  i've family all over.......... but sadly none up in NY.

be interesting.. but no way in hell am i leaving some ones little ass behind to go up to NY to meet a bunch of people i will prolly never see again in my life.  No offense or anything......... but priorities.

I tend to feel a lot less inhibited when I'm on the East Coast.  Most people talk about the Area Code rule, but I take it a few steps further!

How funny, I used to live in your neck of the woods!

Okay... so in addition to how far would you go... what are you willing to brave?  Would you camp out for a weekend if all that could be guaranteed was privacy and a campfire?

I found out the other night that my probationary time in the Union will end before summer does.

Once that happens and I dont have to maintain a minimum amount of days working every month, I am so gonna Road Trip.

How far I would travel would depend on........do I have the $$? Can I take the time off work? Can I find someone to stay at the farm and take care of animals while I am gone? Other than that, no limitations really.

I've never been camping, sounds like fun.  I actually have some research to do at the FDR Library in NY and at Harvard this summer.  Sounds interesting!

that would depend entirely on whether or not i could find transportation, ride-share, or whatever.
