I have a phobia of driving. Tomorrow I am going to get my permit so I can get over it, I may even pay for a driving school. It is a new skill I wish to acquire, and I think that this relationship is giving me the motivation to do it. It will also aid him directly if I drive in many ways eventually, and I cannot live where he does if I do not. I am thinking about it as a part of what he demands of me as his submissive, and that somehow makes it easier to confront.

i'd like to learn to cook, better. Speciality dishes. So when i cook dinner... i can like wow him with awesome food. Except i have personal issues with cooking so i dont see myself seeking that skill out any time soon. i'd like to sew better....... and what i'd really like to do is invest in a sewing machine. i'd like to learn to be creative so i can really neat things for him. Like awesome shirts and whatever. i'd almost like to go to a finishing school...... so i can brush up on my rough edges with grace and all that Belly dancing i almost learned, as one of the instructers at the YMCA i went too was showing me... like to learn to dance in general.... i'd like to become absolutetly fricken limber.... so i can put body parts in wierd places. And of course to become more toned so i can hold those wierd body positions for as long as i like. Which i was slightly on the path too last summer in yoga classes and aerobic classes. piano - ballet would be cool - erm.. for myself a martial arts class would rock.... and maybe about 200 other things.

I don't know how much these skills will improve my D/s relationships but: I would like to take a formal course on psychology, and at least one course on therapy/counseling I would like to improve my skill at sewing, leatherworking, and leather braiding. I would like to learn a martial art I would like to take a singing class, and learn to control my voice and actually make pleasant sounds when singing I would like to learn to shoot a gun, both hand gun and rifle/shotgun. I would like to improve time management and organization skills I would like to learn at least 3 different "formal" dance styles - tango, foxtrot, waltz, swing, whatever. I was absolutely embarrassed to learn that Sir knew how to "really" dance and I didn't. And me in the dress we spent weeks hunting down for the #$&*(ing party. I would like to learn sign language, improve my German, and learn more than just pidgin Spanish. I'll stop there... ~E

I could still drive, but I gave up the car I drive because of the stress driving has been causing. I live in a city with lots transportation so it doesn't put and wear on my Daddy. The car I drove is quite old and I would probably get a new one if I were going to continue driving. I will drive again, if we ever move or if I change jobs or something, but I abhore drving in this state. I never seen people drive the way the do here. I hope you live in a place where people drive nicely and are friendly. :)

Jere, I detest floggers and will not use them so don't feel alone. I want to learn to fireplay, cupping, and needleplay. I love to cook and I make a fabulous rissotto but I want to learn to cook more healthy as well as just expand my repitoire. I am going to take a class on hypnosis for use in bdsm and that should prove interesting.

You all are being way to hard on yourselves. I spent years analyzing this thing, and now I just go with it. Classes are great. I don't discourage that. Nothing fills the gap like real time scening, and especially public scening. That is how you learn. You just have to get out there and try. Another thing, my friends and I are opening a dungeon soon in our area. We found the cutest little female sub who wants to be a Domme now. That is not going to happen. She has to learn first. She is so country. We are going to have to teach her how to improve her vocabulary, but it the lessons will be coming from myself and my student Domme friend. She will be trained in real time. For those who have mentioned learning to shoot, if you are in Arkansas, I have friend there who is an amazing shot and if anyone is local to me, I can teach you as well. Make sure whomever is teaching you starts you on a small .22 and not some big stupid penis extender. Trigger control is more important than having the sights aligned. In general, given an hour I can teach most women to outshoot the men at a range.

Bloodletting, permanent peircing and a martial art. The first is, well, the vampire in me. The second is simply a skill I'd like to have...especially to offer to the community so that we can do it in ritual space and such. The latter is for rough body play. Master Fire

You and me both! I cringe at having to wear 'professional' clothing for work. I loathe blouses. They never give enough shoulder room for proper range of motion. I don't understand high heels, either. What sadist invented those? zuma
