I just want to say....I would never deactivate on you.

Did you get your viagra perscription refilled or something?

p.s. this is just a smart-ass comment I felt a need to make, and I apologize in advance.

Perfectly allright, and yes I did.

(Offense taken in advance).

~Hi~
Would someone please tell me if there is a way to change something so that when I look at a guy's profile they don't see that I've been there.  I like to look around, but I don't want a relationship at the moment, and it's tiring to get a trail of "I noticed that you looked at my profile.."  Because I look does nto mean that I seek.~
~thank you~

I don't mean this to sound well...mean but so what? So they say hi or hello or bow to me bitch or let me wash your feet with my tounge. As has been pointed out already you can just ignore them. In fact you can delete without ever reading them. Why is that such a big deal?

Here is another point. Many women especially the submissive ones may be shy about making first contact. The view is often times a signal to someone that they are interested and may welcome a contact.

How do you know who is who???

Just ask!

No big deal.

Bottom (no pun) line is they are not doing it to piss you off.

So again.... just don't read them and delete them...it takes what .0075 miliseconds?

LOLOL.  Yesterday I accidently hit the "View Profile" instead of the "Block" buttom on a sub's profile.  This individual has a history of deactivating, then reactivating his profile to get around being blocked.  I saw he reactivated his profile yet again,  so I intended to block him to prevent him from contacting me, but viewed his profile first by accident.  Oh yeah, I want him sooooo bad, LOLOL, as he will see when he finds he has been blocked yet again.

The reason I would not do this sort of thing is because it puts this other nitwit in control of what I do.

Delete any emails.  Ignore them looking at my profile.  Eventually this cretin would get bored and go bother somebody else.

Every time person A does something that person B (stalker) is aware of, the cycle of stalking and abuse starts over.

Just me, etc.

Good point.  My blocking him may activate his "chase" instinct and keep the cycle going.

He has already moved on to bothering other people, though.  All of my Domme friends in the DFW area who have a profile on Collarme are well-acquanted with this individual.  He has the ability to annoy several people simultaneously.

At least what he has sent me isn't hateful or threatening.  I did give him a chance several months back, but he blew it bigtime and kept pestering me to reconsider him, which I have no plans on doing.

Or deactivate when reading profiles.  Invisible to everyone.

One other thing...

Having a public profile in and of itself is an invitation to comment whether the member likes it or not. It comes with the territory of having one on an open and free website.

SEVADom -> RE: Can "who looked" be shut off? Questien~ (4/16/2007 6:31:57 PM)

There's one other simple alternative. Slighly clumsy, but you can make a note of the id(s), then simply log off. You can browse profiles without being signed on. You'll have to fill in the silly "electronic signature" thing each session (not per profile, though) -- and you can't see the non-vanilla interests or (I believe) the more racy photographs. But you *can* see the rest of their profile text.

If you're not signed in, there's no way the system will show your id as having browsed anyone.

But one does not have to be logged in to view profiles... one can be logged out and still view people. You just have to log in "guest mode". I do not care to go through that trouble to hide the fact someone made me curious about them when I read their post, but it seems rather a simple matter of logging out before browsing.

CoyoteWhips -> RE: Can "who looked" be shut off? Questien~ (4/16/2007 9:42:05 PM)

A significant portions of the views I see are from people who saw one of my whips in the photo-browse and just wanted a closer look.

I like showing up on the who looked feature.  It says, "I did read your profile and I'm not writing to you ... most likely because you said not to.  So, there.  I've been courteous."
