LOL Troll. i thought of you when i decided to post them and what i told you about showing preg pics.  Ha.

Fargle - never asked my OB what he thought of VBACs.  i suppose i didnt think it really mattered, since the hosptial said "absolutetly, no way in hell, not on your life, NO"  (of course they didnt say it like that).

Not really worried about the weight Mist, oddly enough. (well currently)  i've packed on 35 lbs, but i feel good about it since the baby is weighing in heavy.  At 27 weeks, he should have been "almost 2 lbs" and was 2.9 lbs.  So he's big, healthy, i've a stomach, but the rest of me is okay.  Course i cant see my butt..  god knows whats going on there.  ha

Thanks all, glad you all enjoyed them.  As for the nudes.....  ah........ i'll ask for permission.  We'll see?

So, em, i'm curious.  You all seem to think they are okay pics and not terrible - does that mean if showed them to OTHERS or even posted them on like here, or myspace or something that i wouldnt be shooting myself in the foot?  Like do you think they're okay enough to send to friends and family?  Cos, i'd rather come off as a complete idiot here than to people i know... or even to broadcast my stupidity out to the world. 

Pls pls dont let me believe that their okay.... have me show others.. and than look like a fool.  OR should i take better pics and try again before i allow family and friends to see?  (as they do ask)

DLS you have to understand that most here can see the beauty in pregnancy and you are the poster child of pregnant beauty.

I have this beautiful vision of Charlie Brown and gang walking across a field on her back with a huge full moon across her shoulders. They are looking for the pumpkin patch to catch a look at the great pumpkin king. My recommendation is that family will want to see your face better, so take them further away from the window with the light behind the camera. However, yes, I think that you could, and should, put these pics up on myspace, send them to your family, and post them to the world.

Not everyone loves pregnant women, and those that don't will be nasty about it. Thankfully, no one here (yet) has been ugly about PG photos. But those photos are absolutely, 100% nothing to be ashamed about.

Thinking about paints, when I was PG and couldn't see to shave, my darlin' wife came into the bathroom to shave me one time while I bathed, and we took bathtub finger paints and had a ball painting my belly. We even had photos of the belly at one point (as well as the shaved cookie!) but I don't think I have them anymore. When the hubby came in to find out what we were giggling about so uproariously, my wiggling round belly was blue, hot pink, and yellow.  I should go looking through all my disks to see if I can find my PG photos...

As a "Bradley Family", we've always been sensitive to whether a Hospital or their staff would be sensitive to our needs/goals/plans.

What we've discovered is that the Nurses do WHATEVER our O/B tells them to do, so if your OB is behind you, you're fine. Might not be the time to start switch plans however!

( We love our O/B, she's our Family Practicioner too! )

Only a short-sighted simpleton would have any issues with those pictures. If you get any complaints, consider the complainer to be an idiot, would be my suggestion.

Again hopping on to agree whole heartedly. My few friends that saw me online said i looked gorgeous while pregnant and had this mini earth mothe rlook going with my hair tinted red. If anyone gets snarky about the pics send them my way. Have some 'frustrations' that need an outlet.

ha ha Troll........ for some reason i have a small issue with being painted as a pumpkin.  You could always paint this....

As far as the family seeing my face........... nah......... screw em.  heh.  They've seen it before.  But maybe i'll try working with the light or something.  Aye, everyone's been really very sweet here.  Its abit unnerving.  LOL Pull up your prego pics Elorin!!!  i'd love to see.  I get on a pregnancy board and every month they do belly pics and i love looking at all of the bellys. 

Fargle - i dunno, but i'll ask.  Master and i called many of the hospitals in the area and his area and all of them has said No.  Might be a hospital policy, dunno.  Of course, now that i've accepted the idea and gotten comfie with it - changing my plans might unnerve me abit.  I'll leave it up to God.  i'm due on either the 11th or the 15th - scheduled on the 6th and its close enough that there is a possiblity that my body will say........ he's coming out sooner.  On top of that my body refused to go into labor with my first so ::shrugs:: eh - just leave it up to fate and all that. (but i will check - just to know if i have another option)

Okay folks - i'm going to have some faith in you all and your opionons that they are acceptable.  Thanks for the thoughts and kindness.  You've all been really sweet.

I've been through 8 years of photos, but while I can find shots from the first year of life, I can't find any photos of me during PG. I know one place they had been stored has been since wiped out, and since they aren't on any floppies, I think those images are just lost.

If you make a google search of whatevr pregnancy pics are out on the net, you'll probably see a lot of similarities to your photos, with the exception of the light problem, but that can be fixed with a good photo editing program.

Now, before I make My next statement, let Me preface this by saying that I've had a number of female friends get pregnant recently and they all have said the same thing about their body that you have. sometimes, I think that there is a hormone that a woman's body creates that affects your self-esteem. There are very few people who don't think that a pregnant woman is the pinnacle of true beauty, and that definitely includes you as well.

Now if you don't geel comfortable in doing the nudes, then don't, you have that option. But don't be ashamed of your current photos, they are terrific. We are not trying to fool you, and as far as your family are concerned, they love you unconditionally, and I would not be surprised if they thought they were beautiful too.

Let your fears go, to quote a line from the movie, "Nine Months," "It's the hormones talking."
