Collarme is an informative site that you can get quick feedback from interesting people willing to share and meet.   However, its a BEAR getting pictures approved.

What kind of pictures get your attention...to the point you have to write?

I never initiate contact but I do like to read the profiles. Pictures that get my attention are ones that show happy, friendly, real life happenings [:)] 

Ones that get passed by are nudes or pictures that only show the body...

I haven't been moved to write based on pic alone. I'm not a visual person so it's not a big deal. But the smile and eyes of a woman are the main things.  Obviously I like pics with all the leather and oots and such, but the real thing that gets me is the eyes.

A picture of a woman with that slighty devious look in her eyes can be as effective as a kick to the pills.

I like smiling people. There are way too many profiles of pissed off dominant women that then have three pages of text that state why they don't want to meet anyone like anyone that would dare write them from the site.

Actually I'm quite surprised at what is being accepted anymore.  I love reading profiles and I do look at the pictures!  It used to be that no bondage was permitted, nothing that didnt show a face... anymore that is all I seem to be seeing!  What's up with that! 

But to answer the question, content, usually artistic in some way or something in the background catches my eye.  I cant say I have ever responded to a photo for any other reason.

Truly thinking back, I cannot ever remember initiating communication with someone because of  their picture.  I usually would write someone because of something written in their profile. 
 
I will admit that I do enjoy putting faces with words of people in the forums much more than the avitars.  Some of these pictures are quite intriguing and I have been tempted to comment on some and have on a couple of different people.  Two come to mind that I think exude sex appeal.
 
As far as the images I post, one snapshot just does not give the a true "picture" of the person.  So, I try to keep all pictures current (within weeks) of different moments, capturing different thoughts and spirit..
 
Still a picture doesn't speak a thousand words..character does.

I'm very particular,  but I look for a certain asthetic quality in a photograph that not ony catches the eye but holds it...Someone who is able to position their tits or cunt just right.

I like nice easy to see pictures (so many are blurred) that are smiley and fun.
Ive had loads of messages about my pic on my file.  I didnt think it was a great one but people seem to like it (black and white always looks good lol)[:)]

I like either artisit picks that are sensual, but not porn...or simple face shots of happy people (although, I do have a weakness for the emo boys, god help me). People in scenes, pics of body parts or doing sex acts (as if this were allowed on CM) turn me off.

I do not contact anyone, but the pictures that will get my attention are graphic (not sexually) and artistic. There is a dominant that posts in the gen discussion area, his pictures are the bomb and his screen name is amayos.

ANY picture catches our eye. It indicates that a person is willing to expose themselves. Their manner of dress has nothing to do with that. Sometimes the main picture will attract us to look and see if there are any others, but a picture is a shortcut to getting the profile narrative read. Our goal is meeting people in person. It has been our experience that a person without a picture is more likely married or involved with someone who they are keeping this life secret, or someone who's major interest is a cyber exchange. We aren't interested in either of those possibilities.

This is a free site. Its too easy to set up a profile with no picture to troll and/or waste time. A picture puts yourself out there. We currently have our "search" parameter set to only show those with pictures. The problem that the owners of the site have is trying to determine which pictures belong and represent the profile. We've actually reported a few that were using pictures of people that I knew were in reality models that we'd seen on BDSM sites.

Regarding pictures being rejected; we've been here a few years and some of our pictures may have been 'grandfathered' in before the current standards and practices. But we have added some as recently as our last trip to Folsom. I don't really know how many are there now, but I don't recall any being rejected.

Keep trying, and ask for a 'why?' if what you requested to be posted is rejected. Show yourself in the manner that makes you comfortable.

Here, here. I have to agree with this one...but not just about dom women, but dom men and sub men (haven't viewed many sub women's profiles). I have actually found myself asking a couple of subs whether they ever smile. I think some people are of the impression that a non-smiling pic makes them look more sexy...and then again, some people don't like their smiles, for some reason.

Anyway, just my 2-cents worth.

P.S. Generally speaking, it's not that big a deal getting pics approved on here as long as those pics are not pornographic in nature...and personally, when I am checking out profiles, I'd rather see a person, not a pornographic projection of a person.

I like face shots. Smiling faces. Nice eyes helps as well. Basically if a person looks friendly and approachable than I will write to them. (Well I would when I was on the market ) I do not like body shots with no face.

i've gotten a lot of really nice messages about my pic.  i like it because my late Sir took it, and it showed me myself through HIS eyes, and it was a shock to see how he saw me.

i like natural pics myself.  show me who you are without a bunch of trappings, cause the trappings arent what i'm interested in.  the Sir who did ensnare me (bit of a private joke) got my mind interested first....and the rest of me followed.

I like the smiling faces, mysterious look in ones eye, the sharp latex and leather outfits and sensual poses with or without clothing.

I always enjoy a "blurred" photograph, it give the profile a needed "yeti-esque" feel...Can you imagine how hot it would be to actually top a sasquatch?

I look at the face first,I am an eye man..I love green eyes.Next a general look around including the breast first.I like a small waist on a woman but find very few small ones..TO each their own and good hunting...bounty
