Joe Calzaghe vs Peter Manfredo Jnr Anyone else going to be watching it? Edited to add :- I'm a big hypocrite for watching it as i don't agree with boxing at all but Joe is just yummy!! My excuse and i'm sticking to it. [:D] Edited again because i just realised Peter Manfredo is from the USA. My Joe is gonna kick ass [;)]

I'm a pacifist, and I love boxing :-) so work that out. I used to box when I was younger - just to let off a bit of steam etc - our youthclub were fighting in Liverpool one year and I got blitzed by this lad who was supposed to be 14, my age. The fucker had a beard. I didn't see the fight, but the other lad was always going to be massively out of his depth with Joe. Time for the better American fighters to take a risk and take him on. Problem is, it's fixed - anyone regarded as dangerous is swerved in order to make a few careers.

I first saw Peter Manfredo Jr. on the Contender he was very good figther, from Jersey I believe ( btw I Loved that Fricken show lol) Who won?

Joe dismantled him in 3 rounds. There are far better fighers at Joe's weight in the US than Manfredo. Joe against Taylor would be worth seeing.
