Are play parties a good place to meet other singles in the lifestyle or are most who go to play parties already with someone? What's the best way to meet singles in one's local area?

g[8\|]gle it...thats what i did. found groups in yahoo, which led to real groups, which led to munches, which led to parties....

To meet and chat with singles IN the scene, I find munches, demos, and NON party events to be better than parties. While the singles will go to all types of kink events, I find it's better to chat someone up and get a dialogue going at more low-key social events. Unless you're a homosexual, then everything changes.

My first exposure (other than reading from some old scientific studies about S&M) was in leather bar where the bikers & the Gay Leathermen hung out in relatively good company. I didn't know the gay bikers were actually into the scene until one night a few guys brought in some equipment & there ya go... well there I went & I've never turned back.

Greetings A/all, I think it depends what country you are in. In my neck of the woods, you don't get to hear about the play parties, unless you have been to a munch, or a couple of munches. It is a sense of security that co-ordinators create so that the people attending know that they will be safe.

Gee....for any type of munch, party or what have ya in this lifestyle to showup in my town would be a miracle. I'm sure I could find a few if I were to go to Augusta, Athens or even Savannah...but here? LOL! I wish.

Play parties are a great place to meet other people that are interested about the Play.... they are singles, couples, groups.
