There's too many lights in one room (overhead)...as opposed to another...  (I know, I can turn the switch off...but there's more to this...the lights are in the wrong place).

I need a womans touch....I'm a single guy...I can't figure this shit out.

(This is a serious question, by the way....)

Some rooms need more light, such as the kitchen and bathroom.  But you can always control the lighting by turning off the overheads and using lamps.

When I worked in an office, I hated the overhead fluorescent lighting, so I kept them off and used lamps.  It made my office was warm and inviting.

Too hard to know without knowing what sorts of lights they are, the make up of the room and their usage.

But I'd say play around with different types of bulbs and shades- and maybe install dimming switches.

Dimming switches....that's good...I can do that.  I like that.

"Kitchen and bath need more"...makes sense...that part's coming up in June....good advice.

Lol, piece of advice, read the packages before you purchase dimmers as there are several different types. And unless you are an electrician read the installation instructions, they do not hook up the same way as regular switches, the color codes are a little different.
