I can't decide whether this is serious or not. Perhaps some sofware guy at Google having some fun? Well, if you're going to swim the Alantic, you might as well ditch the car and swin the whole thing. It's doable (via the Great Lakes, the Erie Canal, and the Hudson River),

What makes me laugh is it's 90 miles extra swim, and a whole new country, just to avoid Devon, Understandable, but still...
