AND IF IT BOTHERS YOU PAYING TAXES THEN MIGRATE TO ANOTHER COUNTRY.... AND IF IT BOTHERS YOU ABOUT THE US MILITARY RECRUITING THEN YOU GO TELL THE BOARD OF EDUCATION .... AND IF YOU DON'T LIKE THE RECRUITERS RECRUITING IN FRONT YOU HIGH SCHOOL THEN COMPLAIN TO THE PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES OR BETTER YET TRY COMPLAINING TO MAYOR BLOOMBERG AND SEE WHAT HE HAS TO SAY... YOU SHOULD SAY THANK YOU MILITARY PEOPLE FOR WHAT YOU DO SO THAT YOU CAN LIVE A FREE LIFE IN THIS COUNTRY. FREEDOM IS NOT FREE. And it becomes yet even more embarressing after that. These people perfectly illustrate why the Army doesn't have any Honor, and therefore isn't worthy of Respect.

The recruiter acted poorly, yes. But I do know people who have served in the U.S. military who are tolerant and accepting of gay and lesbian comrades. Also, I was trained as an HIV educator and tester by a gay man who had served in the U.S. military So I disagree with the blanket statement that the Army has no honor and is not deserving of respect.

The fact that the ORGANIZATION tolerates the presence of such dishonorable people, brings dishonor to the organization.

The misstake that the guy made was to "tell" the recruiter that he was gay. Clinton started that program, don't ask, don't "tell." The guy "told". What did he think was going to be the reaction? It doesn't sound to me like he really was interested in signing up just in trying to make a point or to be argumentative. If he really wanted to join he would have kept his mouth shut! I don't go around telling people that I'm into B&D! It's my business not theirs! Also, people need to realize that it's not against the law to "offend" people. I "offend" people everyday and I'm real fuckin' good at it too! A real fuckin' "Expert" if I do say so myself.

Fuck them? Seriously. No one asked The People if they wanted "Don't Ask, Don't Tell". So let's have a draft, and when you refuse to let the homosexuals you DRAFTED serve, have fun fighting the lawsuits. The Draft is THE END of Don't Ask, Don't Tell, and the beginning of full, open service by gays.

Farglebargle I have a question for you. Since the world is generally populated with people who are biggotted against something or another, does that make their employer a bad one too? Or is it only because she was Military. I am not saying what she said was right. But you condemed ALL military personnel because they allowed her to have her opinion - even those that don't know her. And I thought you were a big one on rights, but I guess she doesn't have any because you condemed her without her right to investigation and prosecution or adminiistrative action (as needed).

Homosexuals can join the military. How old is this e-mail? Also, what's the proof that this is infact a ligit e-mail conversation? I can take any response, cut and paste what I want, and then print out the e-mail. If this is ture, I think the recruiter was not referring to homosexuals. The term Gay means happy. The military does not except happy people. One of the first thing a Drill Instructor says is "Whipe that smile off your face"

They must be WORTHY of acting in The People's Name. Tolerating this kind of small minded bigotry is the beginning. And it leads to, a Sergeant covers up the rape and murder of children, rather than putting down the mad dog planning it, they do not deserve that trust. They have no honor.
