My Mistress and I have been discussing getting a Bi Female Switch to join our household for a number of reasons.

1. Both of us hate doing housework (not that we'd abandon doing it), we'd just like someone that doesnt have to get a job to maintain the house while we're gone so as to create a less stressful environment.

2. I'm apparently quite a hand-full and is looking to get a third person that can top me to help her keep me in line.

3. We both are interested in expanding our sex lives to incorporate another person or couple etc.

Now does anyone know anything about these arrangments and how they work? I for one I have never met a person that's experienced these sorts of lifestyles and am seeking information to help with our decisions.

Hmm wow, that's a tall order to fill. I'm not going to say your perfect match isn't out there, but it's definitely not your standard fare situation.

That being said, it's good that you know what you want ahead of time, that makes things a lot easier.

You want a switch, who is service oriented enough to stay at home and be financially provided for, present and future, but bdsm top oriented enough to keep your ass in line (BTW, do YOU think you are too much of a handful, and if so, why?) and a sex toy for you both.

As usual, read The Ethical Slut, read this forum, and contact local poly people in your area and get advice from them. It works the same as monogamy in many ways and is just about seeing what works, what's compatible and making it happen.

Well yes i'm hard to handle, but thats cause I suffer from chronic Brat syndrome. ;p but Mistress likes it that way, and I wouldnt say we're looking for a sex toy for ourselves, we're looking for someone that would be interested in making us theirs as well. You know?

We're looking for an equal arrangment. Of course if they wanted to get a job they could, but they woudlnt have to.

First step in getting a live in is figuring out the financial side. If you two cant support a slave then it will be next to impossible to get one.
if you think you can then here is what you have to make sure you include in the cost.
Medical, food, personal items, clothes, travel, the extra utilites, living space and time.
If you go though this and still think you can afford it then you need to think about the emotional support, the extra work, the loss of privacy and the drain it is going to put on you.
Owning a live in isnt what the books tell you it is. Its simular to having a child in the house. They are people not just objects and a happy slave is a good slave.
When you take one on, they are giving up everything they have to be with you, if it doesnt work out then what? Thats how you have to think.
I have experience in having live ins and I can tell you its not all fun and games, not in the least. It takes a special person to own someone.
My advice, hire a maid, find someone who just wants kinky sex every now and then.

I think my advice would be simplier.

Find either a nice Catholic or Jewish, slightly anal retentive, CPA.

I have never felt there was a problem with a slave being both productive and a profit center for the family.

Do have a very clear ethical arrangement for finances.

My wife and I had a young lady who worked as a part of our family business. We accounted for her share of income, plus some separate income she got in a small business we helped her establish. We her parents pressured her into an arranged marriage, we had put aside enough to buy most of a house for her.

She begged us to keep it, but I am sort of a stickler about keeping MY Word and my wife while being very submissive, was much tougher than she was.

I personally think any arrangement that goes on more than 5 years, should have a written will for each member, clearly spelling out how the assets are to be distributed.

Older nurses might be another alternative, for good psychological fit.

just a few ideas, and my general take on it.

I am not sure if your number one reason is such a good reason to add a live in unless you are going to be structuring it as as household with clear cut ideas. Getting a live in just becuase you both hate housework is not a good idea- hire a maid instead. The other two reasons are wonderful! Having any live ins isd\ very challenging, demanding, rewarding and stressful on all aprties. Your house dynamic will complete alter, new ways of communicating will need to be developed and honesty will need to be a cornerstone even more.
Our major has been serving us for three years now, and it has been a wonderful , difficult and unique learning experience for all of our family. But I wouldnt trade her for the world!

Whatever happened to everyone working towards a common goal and for the house? Shouldn't everyone pitch in, nothing difrent then living in a commune that happens to be BDSM Related. Why should slaves be supported? I believe everyone should work together. Just My opinion, and it works in this household. We are part of a poly amorus couple. Myself and Rigid2. I own 2 slaves, While he owns a female submissive. Here we all work towards a common goal. Everyone shares as a whole. No one person puts in more then the other.

Don't let people run you down or keep you from looking for your dream. Believe me, there are Bi-Female Switches out there who can deliver what you are looking for, what you need. ok,,i'll bite...why? i am not saying i am able to do as they want...since i am not female...but the money part got me upset.
as a slave...i bring my own money into any d/s i am into..
i fail to grasp that.....

maybe it is just me?.......i thought it was standard all slaves pay their own way????
