ok since someone told me its a new feature on collarme, cos i thought i was dumb, never noticing it, ive been wondering a few things about this new thing.

Question is, are any of you getting more success in communicating with others on this site because of this button? Like, do you contact them after seeing their profile, and seeing they viewed yours, and feel there is a compatability? Is this button bringing more ppl together? online, or real time eventually..

It has made me aware of who is looking at me, and I can see (after a fashion) if someone has come 'back' to look at me.

I have not contacted anyone directly from this list. (Most are men.) I think it can be of great value, if only to make your radar a little more focussed.

Just because one person doesn't contact the other, with the right amount of courage, the second can contact the first and who knows what magic can occur?

I like to look and see who looked at me and since I'm always looking at others who post interesting stuff, I guess they see I've looked at them. My looking is purely curiosity -- but if I were searching and I saw that someone kept returning to look at my profile, you bet I would contact them if they were what I was searching for.

It's interesting to note how many people who view my profile actually seem to pay attention to things like the fact that I'm not willing to relocate, that I already have a Daddy, or who simply see my picture and get scared off. It's definitely not a case of "why does every X who views my profile insist upon contacting me when I say I only want Y?" Most people look, get an idea of who is behind the dots, and move on. No big.

I've been amused as hell that after I've looked at some of the profiles, about half of those people will see that I've looked and then check my own profile again to remind themselves of who I am. It seems like that could get into an odd loop without anyone otherwise contacting the other person. "Wait, that name looks familiar. Who was that ...? Oh, its them. Again."

Right now, I mainly just mouse-over the names to get an idea of location and orientation before going about my business. Rarely is anyone who looks at my profile in my region let alone my state, so it saves time. I seem to be quite the fashionable vew among doms in Florida and Texas, though.

Yanno... every time I take a gander at who has checked my profile out there's always these guys usenames. I mean, I'm already taken, true, but that doesn't mean I can't chill and BS with men here, sheesh.

It's a bit like being at a bar or something. If you're not looking or available, you might as well be invisible. Can't men just be friends with women anymore? Some of these guy who looked seem pretty cool to me, I'd have no problem just chatting.

Okay, pissy whine over =)

I do look at who has looked at me. A lot of times you can not tell anything about a person until you look at the full profile. For example, I wouldn't know that mustardseed was not available until I looked at the full profile. Does someone looking at me get an automatic response? No, but I do usually check them out.

I think the best part of the viewing button is that it gives you a chance to see some people that may not normally come up in your searches.

Some who look at my profile I know from the fourms. They know me and presumably had a look at my profile before and I suppose that they are just returning to refresh their memory.

A few others I do not know and I suppose that they either got interested by one of my posts, or that they stumbled across my profile by accident.

All kinds of people look at my profile, though they are only a few so far: doms, subs, male, female in any combination. I do not attach any significance to this, nor do I feel a necessity to contact them.

I've found for myself that it didn't make any difference in the success rate of communication with others with this feature. Both before and after, I've recieved about the same amount of messages from others, which is mabe 2 or 3. I just fnd that the one's who viewed my profile are curious for whatever reason they have. Either way, it makes no difference to me bu having this feature or not.
