I have a vague memory of the 35-37 Olds executive or ambassador having a record player in it. However I could be wrong.

I might have seen something like that at an antique car show.  I did pick up a couple European hitch-hikers once who had never seen or heard of an 8-track tape.

Sounds like another Chrysler product...

Unless it was a special-order jobby... pretty sure it wasn't a Cad option.

I remember in the sixies tha my next door neighbor, who was a wanna-be pimp, had one installed in his cadillac.

I remember 8 tracks.

Hard to imagine a record player with the skipping and such going on.  Although, if that was
the medium for the day, why not?
If thats all we had we would be doing it.

I just had a 12 disc Harley CD changer installed on my bike today. It worked great with no skipping. It is installed in the upper hard touring luggage pack.
