Republicrat Corporate Fascism
And Voting Our Conscience
Of course there is so little difference between the 2 major parties this really doesn't matter all that much. The corporations have had every politician in both the Republican and Democratic Parties bought and paid for a long time ago. They are the Republicrat Party, all lying puppets cast by the corporate oligarchy. The sooner the people of the United States understand this very simple fact, the faster Third Parties like the Green Party will grow strong and become a formidable threat to the status quo. Only then will the 49% who didn't see fit to come out and vote in the 2000 presidential race finally see a reason to come out and vote their conscience. Only then will we start to vote our conscience and vote for someone who is actually out for the good of all 285 million citizens of the United States, and the 6.1 billion people who now share this Earth. Only then will we start to vote our conscience and vote for someone who fully understands that we must quickly change over to sustainable environmental policies, to leave our children a habitable Earth. Only then will we have someone who is not bought and paid for by the corporations, but finally, a truly honest person of integrity. Only then will we vote our conscience and vote for someone like Ralph Nader to win back the Presidency for all Americans. Finally putting a stop to our corporate fascism, and bring democracy back to this Republic.

Now dont that say it all!  The reason they say the green party is because it to the best of my knowledge is the only other party that is eligible for funding based on support, everyone else has to get their own money for champaigns

Well, with all the Republicans jumping ship and signing  up in the Constitution Party I think they'll be elegable for funding soon too.
That must make Bush real happy eh?
I don't think those Republicans "left" the Party, I think the Party left them.

The Reform Party had a pretty respectable chunk of federal campaign funds after Perot... didn't do them much good, tho.
The Libertarian Party will not accept federal funds for campaigning.
We broke 300M people last year... time to update the ol' website.

Good post, Real0ne. It certainly resonates here. Since 1997, a vote for either of the two main political parties is a vote for big business. Effective disenfranchisement, what democracy. I agree, the only way to change this is to form a political movement with actual politics at the heart of the movement rather than bribes and business pay-offs.

The old Labour Party was deeply flawed but at least its existence meant that Britain was a functioning democracy. Sadly it seems dead a doornail now and any new movement will be built on completely different foundations but what?

So, I followed this GATT/NAFTA thing.....at the post office there were petitioners, asking for sigs against the two bills, page after page with signatures. Bushsr. wanted it, pushed for it. On the radio, it was top news......now, Bush sr. pushed this legistration through, right up to the final days, of the final week, of his reign, hand carried the papers; it passed.....then came Clinton who had to sign, to make it official. Yet Clinton bares the blame for it all.

When I mention Reagan folly, I am reminded there was a Dem house, and he is excused the folly. When I mention Clinton folly, I am always supported and Clinton is Alway the culprit, never excused, never acknowledged he was subject to a GOP house.

When I mention Bush Folly, .......nothing,   simply nothing. All is acceptible.

How can I understand this?  I am not a Clinton supporter, BTW.
