The stare down technique works until he figures out that if he continues staring at us that we'll eventually give in, which about 80% of the time we do give in.

I'm sure Crouchingtigress can answer this better then I can, but I would suggest training her technique at other times to reinforce the habit.  If your giving in 80% of the time the dog has already started to learn that they win.  Not that I'm against crate training but that will not stop any barking.  You could be trading one problem for another.

As long as you make sure the dogs are not directly under foot or for my little one under ass, they just kinda lay there and watch (little voyeurs that they are. The puppy was interested at first but just telling him no and ignoring him made him realize his place in the pack. I am all for training. Have taken my Jack to one class and he's already back to acting like the puppy i fell inlove with. i think we just needed to re-establish me as the one making the decisions.

Now my cat on the other hand....gets locked out of the bedroom. although a purring pussy rubbing your face when you're tied down can be funny for the domme to watch and can drive the sub wild, it's not so funny when he totally breaks a mood we just spent time getting just right

I must have a stranger dog than everyone else... My Master and I normally play in my bedroom when we're at my house and my dog doesn't bother us at all. As long as we let him in the room he's silent. He just lays under the bed and ignores us....I honestly think he's just attached to the room and the fact that Master and I are in it has nothing to do with the issue. I guess in a way its a good thing. ^.^

Two words:  Duct tape.

Sinergy

p.s. Not sure what that has to do with the thread, but "duct tape" is two words.

I second the crate training idea.  Absolutely the best thing we ever did.

Do not give in the whining and all that...just teaches the pup that they're in control of the situation.

I agree with the crate training, it should work. You need to do it consistently, on a daily basis, make it a safe haven and fun for your dog to go into. Also do not reward barking with any positive attention. I've found grabbing the snout and holding it closed, eyeballing and giving a low growl (basically dog-speak for "I'm the boss here and I want you to be quiet") works well.

Our dogs are fine till the spanking begins ... then they WANT out of the room as it scares them (it doesn't seem to matter who's spanking who, it's the noise that's scary for them). So if it's to be a spanking session, we make sure they're not in the same room from the start.

The cat ... well, she's always been a pervert LOL. Loves to watch anything sexual, often likes to lie alongside and demands to be petted at the same time (keeps me busy!). In her younger days she was known to ride along on top ... but that's a bit too vigorous for her now she's 18.

Good luck to the OP!
