Hello everyone. I've been a member of CM for a while now, and to be honest I've not been too impressed. Trying to find real people who don't automatically write off someone because of their physical age or think that all married men are on here without their wives knowing can be rather frustrating.

I know that I have to work against majority of both groups who seem to back up most of the negative stereotypes about them... but then, I’d have thought that this would be the best sort of place to find open-mindedness, no? *smiles* So, I figured I’d give the forum a chance, see if there are more real and understanding folk on here.

About me, I’m 26 years old and I live in San Jose, Ca. I really do love this area which the climate and closeness to the coast. SF is close for major events and there seems to be a decent local scene as well. My schedule is rather fluid and so I don’t make it out to things as much as I would like. I look forward to reading, learning, and sharing my own knowledge with the community here.

CM is just a community like any other and you get your good, bad and ugly as well as the wonderful. As CM is large, you just get more of each group. Hang in there and remember that the Internet and this site are a tool and can be entertaining but nothing beats real life experiences. Good luck in your search and posting in the forums is a great way for potentials to notice you.
