One Nuke versus 150,000 troops. Which one will do the job right and quickly?
Interesting proposal, the US would probably find out what real isolation would then be like. All those nice US corporations would send the stockmarket crashing along with 401Ks, mortages companies and just about everything else as a global boycot of American goods and services would occur.
The $ would look like the german currancy in the 30s, Oil to the US would become pricier than gold. The rest of the English speaking world would side with China, Russia, Chavez and the Muslims to bankrupt the US. O and I would predict a lot more than 150,000 westeners and Americans would die globally if the US ever used a nuke as a first strike. If you think that there is a terrorist problem now when there are a few thousand "commited" muslim nutters, imagine 500 million of them willing to die a martyrs death. Unfortunately you need to wait till you can retaliate and have the moral high ground........!
