Incase you have not heard, Congress was what decided to extend Day Light Savings by four weeks. Instead of turning clocks up an hour in April, we now have to do it in March. What a pain in the ass. Is changing time a real concern for the government? What happened to budgets, War, jobs, Health Care, and education? With all that on the table, I'm supprised that Congress would waste time with the worthless Day Light Savings Time. If the issue had to be mention, the motion to end DLST would have been better.

I believe theory was that extending DST might reduce energy usage. Whether that's true or not, I'm pleased to be having the sun set later.

Yes, Congress will do something like that figuring that it will "save" the country $10B and then turn around and hand out $50 B of our money in "foreign aid!"

Mildly curious about why you refer to your wedding as a funeral, but it's not really my business.

Comic value. I also have ball and chain cuff links but I'm not actually going to wear them during the ceromony. In Tarrot, you have the death card. In all of Tarrots BS, the Death Card has been re translated to being a New Beginning of something. By settleing down, I see one part of my life comming to an end and a new part being born. A major change is taking place so to speak.

I live in an area that does not use DST.  The LAST thing we need in the desert in the summer is an extra hour of daylight!

out of curiosity, why do you refer to it as bs and say the card has been retranslated? (as someone who's read tarot for about 9 years now, this caught my eye.)
