Ok this is from another post as usual. I will get original one of these times. One Dom mentioned that it takes a magnetic personality to attract a sub. I dont want a woman with a metal plate in her head to be drawn to me. What kind of personality drew your Sub or Dom/Domme to you?

He would just walk in a room and your eyes were drawn to him. Of course, the fact that he was 6'7 might have had something to do with it also [;)] Outside of height, the one thing that draws my attention to a man is how he interacts with others. Is he polite, considerate, well spoken; does he speak softly but with conviction; does he smile alot when talking?, does he make you feel comfortable...things like that are what will attract my attention and keep it.

It was not so much her personality that first drew me but her smile. Melissa has a smile that radiates.

Outgoing, intelligent, rebellious (but not to me), independent, communicative and witty. Then, it's time spent in his/her energy and the spiritual connection I feel. Master Fire

Intelligence, freaking good looks, Sadist, aggressive, a 'natural' dominant (egads i hope i spelled that correctly for the English/spelling Nazis). He was not a big man, 5'9-5'10, but he could walk into a room and completely fill it. It was quite heady. Too bad he was also a sociopath, narissist (sp?), a liar and a cheat. (Did i mention i have....apparently...incurable bad boyism). [:'(]

His intensity and the way in which he spoke to me. Nobody had ever had such an affect on me before. He challenged my view of myself from the very first conversation and didn't seem to care if I agreed with him or not.

The obvious intelligence, sense of humor, undeniable charm and of course always being "moderated"...It projects that "bad boy" image that subs just lap up.

i had written out a "List of 10" that were the traits i seek and standards to live by and i desired to find a partner that would not only match my list of 10 in His life but also help me to continually rise and live up and beyond my standards. Captain met all on my list and more. * What's on Your list ? * But before we were in a M/s I was drawn to my Master first due to the many common interests we share. We dated vanilla 10 years ago, drifted apart a year later due to distance. We stayed friends but mostly just an e-mail or two. Later we kept running into each other at different events. Since we both like sailing, SCA, sports, flying, camping outdoors stuff, SCUBA, and our personalities fit with each other, the attraction grew the more we spent time together. Add to that the sexual attraction, and then add the kink and desire for M/s. it just all fit. We are friends in addition to the Master/slave relationship.

what attracted me to Daddy was His eclectic collection of music. He loves the old faves like Dinah Shore, Ella Fitzgerald and Frank Sinatra to world (mostly Brazillian - hence the name "samba") and jazz. plus He knew more about me than i did myself ...i felt comfortable instantly from the way He talked and treated me as a person and not as a submissive during our first online chat. it didn't take us long to click.

Either one or both of these will make a huge difference to me: 1)Intensity (a "deep thinker" type) and sincerity (some vulnerablity (if a submissive, but sometimes for a Dom, too - and honesty (for either), and-or 2) A great sense of humor. Both of these qualities, when combined, are just incredible to me, of course - but alone they are really great as well. They always have to be fairly (or very) intelligent, otherwise, I end up feeling like I am just making someone my "toy" (not always a bad thing, but still...you probably know what I mean...). They also have to be a good communicator (in writing and-or speaking.) - Susan

Well if I am friends with someone, it is usually already a given I'd be with them in that way, if we both wanted to (or if one f us suggested it) not always, but usually that's the way I feel, so yeah, that could happen. Sometimes that can just seem so right, too, I agree. - Susan
