Don't feel bad for laughing. I'm laughing my ass off. To think that this stuff does not happen on just TV. It's real as well. If he's decides not to laugh over this incident, it's a sign that he takes things to serious and you shouldn't be with him. This is a great way to test his personality and sense of humor.
Everyone makes an "Uh Ohhh" now and then. See how he handles it.

Awwww, the poor guy was so smitten he didn't realize what he was doing! Poor guy is probably nursing his blistered lips this morning thinking, "I'm such a moron, she'll never go out with me again!"

I had a date tonight, a first date. My date took me to dinner and was drinking coffee, and accidentally picked up the candle holder, and took a drink from it. I can't even imagine how it happened ... I mean, how the fuck could you possibly pick up a candle holder and think it was coffee.

This poor guy burned his mouth ... only hot wax burns, but inside a mouth ... it's just not funny ... the poor guy. I took him to his parents house and they dropped me at home. I hope he's going to be ok ... but don't see how I could date him again without dying laughing.

Think I'll get drunk and try to get on Collarme moderation.

Anyone ever has something that messed up, happen on a date?

Every guy knows...that is a sure fire way to get out of the "date from hell."....Take a mouth full of ice water drink the wax...feign injury...End the date.....And then call up some hotter ho down the block ....Works like a charm....

Very funny story.

So Caitlyn...apart from your beau drinking out of the candle holder did you like him? If you did then to make him and you feel a little less self-conscious (and to acknowledge that it was kind of funny) next time you see him you can take along a coffee cup and a candle holder, each clearly tagged so he wont confuse them again. I tend to agree with the others that maybe he was so smitten by you that he simply didn't notice the heat - from the candle!
