Do you mean seriously punished or the play type? I think it would be pretty wrong to carry out someone's true punishment in front of people it didn't concern.

I'm pretty outgoing and bold... I have done some crazy things in public... fun stuff... a few light weight things in public eye, but with a sort of comedy act about it.. However... I have a limit in regards to play in public... there are things which are best done or dealt with in private... Hell, I won't even get into it with my friends in public either, if there is an issue... If I somebody I don't like or really know in public, and they are being out of line, I will express myself loudly for others to hear! I may go for verbal public humilation tactics...

I play in public all the time. (Matter of fact we're off to the new LA Power Exchange at Passive Arts Dungeon tomorrow!) We have several dungeons we frequent and enjoy. Do I punish in public? NO. Because I do not use anything I do as play as punishment. For me, punishment is to be avoided. In my world, it is not pleasurable for either party. The sub doesn't get the mental out from it that at least I am enjoying what I am doing to him. No. It will be nasty and unpleasant and awful for everyone. If I have to punish, they know they have screwed up in some very real way. I have never had to punish a sub of mine more than once.

I have given a public flogging exhibition in public, but it was with a sub who wanted to be taken to sub space in front of a crowd. Big fantasy of theirs. Not a true punishment, per se. Lady Pact

I was on a road trip with my former Dom once and I was cranky because I get carsick. Eventually he got sick of my crankiness and we pulled over at a roadside park. He bent me over the hood of the car in front of about 6 truckers and spanked me. Then as we got in the car and left all the truckers were honking at us. I've never been so humilated. I also got spanked in a hotel parking lot once. I think housekeeping enjoyed the show.

I find public play and public punishment two separate items. I having played with a submissive in front of others at parties, this is quite different then the few times I've punished a slave in public. The play was for everyones enjoyment while the slave's punishment was exactly that, a humiliatiling and painfull punishment for disobedence. LOL This doesn't include the numerous times I've played with a sub or slave outdoors or at malls where only the two of us knew really what was going on.

i was once and after the fact actually found it rather erotic when i thought back on it. my ex and i were in the car on the way home and he pulled into a big parking lot, told me to get out of the car and bend over the front seat (the car was a Caravan). As usual i was not allowed to look back or hesitate but because of the public aspect i was very nervous and of course tried to peek behind me. He used his cane one me and as i was laying there i coul see a man a looking into the side window i was looking out of watching us. He seemed transfixed by what he was seeing and i once tried to turn to tell my ex but all i got was a much harder whack and told to be silent. It lasted all of maybe 10 minutes but the guy stood there and watched the whole thing, we made eye contact and then when it was over he walked away pretty fast as my ex certainly would have seen him as he was walking back around the caravan to get back into his side of the car. i told my ex what had happened and he said - Well why didn't you tell me someone was there [:@] - i was't going to get myself in deeper so just bit my tongue lol. i don't believe a couple should drag others into their personal business - if it's in a dungeon then maybe, but if it makes others feel uncomfortable then i don't think it's a good thing.
