What is it with all the mail from Sweden, Denmark, and Eastern Europe looking for a domanent home to join? Is this normal or am I specially favored? Are these people who think this is an easy way to come to America, or is my American egotism shaping my thinking? Are these scams which eventually turn into requests for money to come over? Is this just another form of mail order brides? I really don’t know if I should take these mails seriously or regard them as scams.

They are usually scams.

On the event one wasn't, take a good consideration and try to picture if you would really want to agree to be involved with someone 'mail order' style.  How many hours, over how many weeks, months, years, not to mention the huge financial investment would you really wish to devote to this person?

My advice; let them know if they're serious, they're welcome to meet you at the local Starbucks on May 3rd at 6pm.  Let them know to shoot you an email the day before, to confirm.  Beyond that, they don't merit any more attention you might give any other online buddy.

I've been 'approached' by any number of Russian women over the years, even once here on CM.

I know the drill.  It could be a scam.  Even if it's not, it's expensive.  Sometimes, it involves assisting with other family members.  <sigh>

But they do seem to have found pictures of beautiful women!!!  It's possible, I suppose, they are even pictures of themselves!!!

Lol, certainly nothing got me so horny and hopeful like an email from an apparently stunning 20yo European whose opening line was "Greetings my new Master".....
 
Not really sure what her angle was and I didn't ask.  Geez I dunno, if it's not telemarketers wanting to give me all kinds of free stuff, it's gorgeous babes throwing themselves at my feet. 

Time to change my nic to MrCharisma, perhaps?

I don´t know about the Eastern Europe, but I find it hard to believe that people from Sweden and Denmark would aproach you only because of an easy way to to come to America.

These countries are doing quite well and I think the Danes and Swedes are fully capable of buying their own plane tickets if they so desire

Are you often online late at night? If so, you are appearing at the top of these people's homepages as they browse collarme at work. I am a nightowl and when I refresh frequently around 3AM I'm bound to get at least a couple of European boys offering to serve me (especially via webcam.) I don't believe they are any more a scam than the guys from Kansas or California that write me the same types of letters.

i received a message from a Serbian Domme looking for a home from here - clearly she didn't notice i was already owned by Daddy yet she felt i needed "expert" training from her.

another collarme member told me about one message he received from a "slave" who move to Nigeria to be with her master and now that her "2 years service was up" she was looking to come back to the US.

I get mail weekly from men in other countries begging me to let them use me to get into my country. I even have a thing at the top of my profile in red letters saying "Seeking LOCAL ONLY! NO relocations! NO travelers!" You would think they'd get the point. But since they aren't really looking for a relationship, but entry to the country, they don't care what the profile says. Hubby gets these type of letters also, usually from Russian women, but a few from other countries. I knew from the very first one either of us got that the people writing were scam artists.

Sweden and Denmark?  Consider yourself lucky.  My typical Inbox crap sounds like it came from the Andromeda Galaxy.

i am special too i get this email from so far away russian and other coutntry they think they can just come i have asked what work do you to and how will you live ? they have not thought that far ahead and silver it is strange i think they think they will live on us the domme maybe they think we need someone so bad we will take care anf feed and cloth them . i do think some are real and want a domme but some are way off center and do believe they will have a home and money from us it is so strange i get this email and they do not say how and what but they just want and oh well do anything i wish ;lol if they come to me they better LOL

Why would a Scandinavian want to go to America for anything other than a bona fide reason? The average Scandinavian has a far better life style than the average American, they would be trading down. As for Eastern Europeans, if you lived in Kiev, even Russia would be an improvement.

We get emails from all over the world. Its just wonderful how popular we are in other countries. It seems that so many woman have left America for west Africa and are stuck there. Or ladies in eastern Europe whos Dom has died or released them. Just amazing!!!!!

Most of it is scammers, others are looking for Green Cards.
A few may just want to visit you and ride in your car.

Ride in your car... Heh.

Could be the time of morning. But I started thinking about dual meanings. And in my head it sounded a bit like, "Ride in your car? Oh I bet they would..."

I get the same thing, but its a nasty surprise for the Eastern Europeans that want to relocate, that I'm currently living in their back yard :) (Cdn but living overseas).

I'm surprised to hear about Swedes and Danes looking relocate.  Who knows?

While it most likely is a scam, there still really are people in those countries. Some of them might want to contact you. I would say that you should judge it more as a scam on the basis of content than country.

Funny, though, that I don't get any of those letters now that I'm living in Chile :D

I get a lot of these too, even though I specifically state in my profile I am not seeking a sub or slave from outside the United States.  I have set up my mail controls to send these responses to bulk mail automatically so I don't even see them, as they are not people I would ever consider. 
 
Some may be sincere and some may be a scam, but I find the hurdles associated with relocating a slave from another country more than I care to deal with.
