Sending good thoughts (my form of prayer). Thank you for alerting us.
I'm so glad the count is down, but that's still too many! Do you know if the fatalaties are students or teachers? Not that it really matters. It's a tragedy either way. I was just wondering.

It has not been disclosed as of yet. I am sure there are hundreds of people waiting fearfully for that answer.

i'm sending lots of prayers to enterprise, and also other areas that have been hit by terrible storms over the last couple of days (including here, over the past few hours, although thankfully it looks like there wasn't too much damage), and are being hit now. my heart goes out to everyone at that high school...it's so terrible.

The storms killed nine people in Georgia, seven in Alabama and one in Missouri.
Details of the six newly reported fatalities in Georgia early Friday were not immediately available.

In southeastern Alabama, a tornado Thursday afternoon killed seven people, five of them at Enterprise High School, said spokeswoman Tasamie Richardson."

All I know are the counts in Enterprise- 9 confirmed dead, 8 students, and one elderly person in the immediate neighborhood.  There may or may not be more as there were 40 injured at the school.  The National Guard is doing a third sweep of the neighborhood surrounding to check and make sure noone is trapped again.  My household was very fortunate, the weather sirens went off and we had large amounts of rain and wind, and there was a tornado  that touched down, but it was not in my immediate area.  Thanks to everyone for their thoughts and prayers, but they still need to continue as 8 families and their friends grieve the loss of teenage life plucked from the human race, and others severely injured and their families and friends.

My prayers and condolences to the families and friends of all the victims and my prayers that all those trapped will be rescued.

We don't often get tornados in my area but they do occur now and then.  Tornado watches, more than any other weather threat, scare the shit out of me - so my hopes and prayers are with you Kc.

That are horrible news.
My condolences to the families and friends of those who are lost.

My best wishes go out to the people in those areas. Hopefully nothing more will happen.
