At first it made me slightly uncomfortable, but I thought about it and decided I just don't care. I think Collarme is trying to add an interesting feature, here, and this site is free of membership charges. I don't totally understand the reasons for this leap in technology but still - what is the implication really, if someone is veiwing your profile? I read profiles all the time, just because I am a curious person. I think it's okay to just peruse profiles. If someone really is interested in someone else, they write to them, period. I have heard paired up submissives complain on this site time and again how many folks don't read their profiles and barrage them with e-mail seeking them as their "One" when they have made it clear from their profile that they are "taken." Maybe this will cut down on those occurrences? I do think it could be construed many times as flattering, if someone is reading your profile, even if they are simply "just curious." I don't see it really, as threatening. I don't care if people read mine, and I will continue to read profiles. It means I want to know more about the person, but - it doesn't automatically follow that I'd want to "jump their bones." Sometimes, when reading a thread, if I am having difficulty understanding someone else's perspective, it helps me to read their profile to see if I can maybe get a better clue "where they are coming from." Also, when I first joined, I read them to get an idea of what a really well-written profile looked like - and there are some amazing ones out there, and doing that did help me. But mostly, I read profiles simply because I am just curious about people in general. I do wonder what the reactions might be from any potentially jealous Dominants who are paired to a submissive - but my guess is it will be the same (maybe less intense) as it is with how they react to their incoming e-mail. I think it's kind of an interesting feature. - Susan
