As far as someone who wanted to use a woman like this for black marekt adoptions, sex trafficking, or  another purpose - what better site to do it on than one ike this? The person involved in illegal activity could almost count on the fact that many folks are going t presume it would be "not very open-minded" to condemn their proposed scene - no matter how weird, or far-fetched or far out it was - in the name of "tolerance".

So- even though I do very much consider myself to be tolerant of what other people's "kink" is, I am also pretty cautious when it comes to random strangers approaching folks like this, on a vanilla site, or one like this, with the sort of proposal this woman had in mind. That might be predjudiced of me, but I've noticed the entire world doesn't operate with good intentons. On the other hand, maybe it's all above-board and innocent. It might be. I'll get off my soap-box now, hehe. Sorry to rant.

She can only win the "Darwin Award" by taking herself OUT of the gene pool by an act of gross stupidity.  If any of this story is true, we can only hope she qualifies!

It might not take very long - she doesn't sound like the prudent type to me.

Who's to say these people were even real?  Just because your friend got an address, doesn't mean that there weren't sickos on the other end that were luring him there just for the sheerr joy of beating the crap out of him, or hoping he had money on him, etc.....it may have been better for him safety wise that he got squicked out.

kc692: An excellent point. I agree. There are some real weirdos out there, and even though there are a lot of nice folks, too, I think it pays to be cautious.

I aree - it is weird. And kc692 is right. Maybe they were going to rob him, or kidnap him, or drug him and sexually use him when he was drugged or something. These two are complete random strangers to him, and it pays to be careful.

I didn't mean he was making things up, I meant the other side may have had nefarious intentions.

Well, yes - men get kidnapped into sex-trafficking rings, too. They get robbed, drugged, etc. too. These two sound a little possibly nefarious. Maybe not stupid enough to get caught, but possibly.

Maybe your friend should turn their phone number into a sex crimes unit at the NYC PD for investigation. I'd hate to think of what they might be doing. And if they are not doing anything illegal, then they don't have much to worry about, do they?

I mean it just sounds like such a lure to draw people to them for some weird reason they are not making obvious. They'll pay him 10K to impregnate a woman (who could easily get pregnant on her own, btw, even in a gang-bang, and with the fact there are sperm banks in NYC). Plus, he has to sign away potential claims to an interest in active fatherhood to the child. And, to ensure she is even likelier to get pregnant, he has to find a way for her to get gang-banged, soon afterward.

Plus there's the fact that if these folks want a child, they could adopt one - if they were "qualified" - which they may very well not be. And if they are simply into kink, how come they're recruiting on AOL? I mean, it's possible, I suppose, that they aren't aware sites like this one, or bdsm clubs exist, etc. - but -it's all just sounding a little too weird, and their methods, vs. their declared goals, as you said -don't add up, from several angles.

But - Some people really are that ignorant re: How things look - either they are too caught up in their own narcissistic fantasies, or else they are amoral and just ignorant of the fact they really could get caught (if they are doing something illegal). And these two really might be that stupid.

I guess I'd consider turning them into NYC Police - because if they are innocent, they'll be fine. If they're not - and your friend turns their phone number over to them, he may just save several people's futures and-or lives. Because who the heck knows what is really going on here. If he threw the phone number away, he can contact her and say he changed his mind, or that he isn't interested himself, but knows someone who is, etc. Then get the address, and turn it, and the phone number over to the police.
