I see a lot of profiles that threaten to block you for one reason or another, but how do you tell if they have done it? Is it when their name turns black on one of the lists?

when your blocked if you try and message itll tell you your blocked. If their name is black in your mailbox, they no longer have a profile.

I am wary of disagreeing with my kith and kine here, but no, if they are black inf your mailbox, it might only mean they have deleted the post to make room for more of your witticisms. Ron

You have no way of knowing if you are blocked until you try to email. That is what I have been told by others, I have never had the inclination to talk to one that possibly has blocked me. I personally do not block, I like to see them butt their heads against the wall.

Usually I give advance warning before blocking someone. It seems the polite thing to do. I have blocked only one or two on the other side, I believe. On this side I have blocked about eight, perhaps less, two of them because they got me into trouble with a mod. I so do not want trouble with a mod. Anyway, half of them do not seem to be active any longer. I have also unblocked some. It is not a life sentence, just a means to reduce the deterioration of my health. I do not know that anyone has blocked me. If so, they must have good reason, I suppose, and I do not begrudge them that, but wish them the best.
