ORIGINAL: SirDiscipliner69 Triple risk of coronary heart disease. Increases total cholesterol and LDL (this is the bad cholesterol) and lowers HDL cholesterol, (the good cholesterol) *So does red meat....cheese, butter, and other dairy products...peanut butter (if the salmonella doesn't get you first) Increases the risk of cancers up to five fold. *So does living and breathing Lowers quality of breast milk. *I breast fed and my babies were FAT Decreases immune response. *Nope, got great immunity Decreases insulin response. *Nope, still not diabetic And here's the most disturbing fact.... HERE IS THE PART THAT IS VERY INTERESTING! Margarine is but ONE MOLECULE away from being PLASTIC.. *EVERY substance is one molecule away from being something else! That's how organic chemistry works! This fact alone was enough to have me avoiding margarine for life and anything else that is hydrogenated (this means hydrogen is added, changing the molecular structure of the substance). *Well, you better avoid water...every molecule of it has TWO hydrogen molecules! If you take away the "H2", you are left with a glass full of pure oxygen. Don't light a match. You can try this yourself: Purchase a tub of margarine and leave it in your garage or shaded area. Within a couple of days you will note a couple of things: * no flies, not even those pesky Fruit flies will go near it (that should tell you something) *Which tells me it's not shit or fruit. * it does not rot or smell differently because it has no nutritional value; nothing will grow on it Even those teeny weeny microorganisms will not a find a home to grow. Why? Because it is nearly plastic. *No, because it is not a viable medium for opportune growth of bacteria and/or mold spores. Take it into your warm kitchen and leave it open on the counter for a few days and see what happens. Would you melt your Tupperware and spread that on your toast? *Of course not. Gladware is a lot cheaper, and doesn't have harmful color dyes in it. Well, maybe just the lids do. Share This With Your Friends.....(If you want to "butter them up")! *No, I like my friends :) Ross ©º°¨¨°º©
