I was catching up on some news stories today and found this:

LONDON - Scientists say conclusive data shows there is no question circumcision reduces men's chances of catching  HIV by up to 60 percent ...

Ok,.. interesting enough but what got me was this:

I love how some people have names that just fit.
I used to know a librarian named Ima Paige Turner, and a dentist named Hurtz.
Cute how that happens.

Oh, I forgot!!
When I went to Navy bootcamp in Great Lakes, Ill. recruit depot in 1971
my Company Commander's name was "Jacob Sailor."
He was 24 years old and just back from Vietnam.

my childhood best friend war rainy marie bennet, they wanted to make her middle name day, cause it was raining when she was born, Fortunatly for her that didn't happen.

So?   I understand that 90% of American men are circumcised, it did little to prevent HIV going straight through the gay community in California. Not getting HIV is still down to life style. The fact that a gun has only three bullets instead of five when you play Russian roulette means if you still play often enough your chances of shooting yourself are still great.  Plus, circumcision brings its own problems. The BMA (British medical association) says it is one of the biggest reasons for male penile malfunction and unrinary problems which is why the British Health Service refuse circumcision for all but medical reasons, along with most other European countries too.

Though getting onto names, the local plumber here is

There is no accounting for taste but the woman has yet to be born I would lop my salami for.

Still, there are 10% getting all the fun.

We have a local gentleman that we have been trying to get to run for office. His legitimate name is Poon Tang. We figure the bumper sticker sales alone should fund his campaign, ( I'm for Poon Tang )...

I 'd vote twice for Poon Tang..

Before I got so erious I was going to say the local plumber here is called Mr Lek which translated in English would be Mr Leak and my neighbour, when she was giving birth had a midwife called Naaktgeboren (born naked).
