I believe I understand what you're saying :P What does domestic service entail to me? Well, so far it's mostly been cleaning, laundery, and cooking, but I have been known to give massages and help with the 'fixing' of things, too. My owner handles the 'man's work' as he calls it (jokingly, of course), which includes fixing things, handling the money (he does taxes), etc. It hasn't extended into anything complex yet.

I think that Archer posted a very comprehensive list. All I would add is that in the Information Age having some geeks to go with the gimps is a good idea. I have one fellow who does graphic design and a couple of others for tech support. Is a "useful man" like a handy-man, someone who does home repairs and can "McGyver" devices that are not functioning? (Makes a mental note to find some old Emily Post books)

That is such wonderful news, losttreasure! [:D] Keep a few lists of what needs to be done and what gets packed and what gets given to charity.
