Hi, I wondered if anyone can recommend any films that have a hint of BDSM. I've watched "Tie me up, tie me down" and "The Secretary" recently. Any others out there that could get me a bit hot and breathless?!

There must be about a hundred threads asking this same question

Baise Moi, Romance, The Piano Teacher, The Nigh Porter, Empire of the Senses, In the Realm Of the Senses, maybe even La Belle Noiseuse. Some purests might say several of those aren't BDSM but I think all have elements of BDSM in them.

'The Cell' had it's moments, and the bondage/torture scenes in 'Buckaroo Banzai' was hot (if mostly for Ellen Barkin in a torn hakama), and if a bit edgey 'Blue Velvet' makes my list...

It could be just me, but The Phantom of the Opera really gets my mojo going.  There is no actual S/m in the film, it is more of a power struggle.  That of the Phantom wanting the girl to give up her will to him, the struggle between heart and mind, good and evil, yin and yang.  The way he touches her and how she melts whenever he is around. Also the setting of the old opera house to me conjurs up the most delicious ideas.

Now im all worked up. *goes to fire up the dvd player*

makes my list too!

Sin City is not so outright kinky except for one scene with Jessica Alba getting whipped . . .  YUM! That scene alone puts it on my list too, and it sure is more fun to watch than some other "kinkier" films like Secretary.

I am watching the movie "Lost In Translation" for the first time.

Oh my god.

Sinergy

p.s.  Not seen this much on-screen chemistry since Sea Of Love.

No one ever mentions "The Cook, the Thief, His Wife, and Her Lover" for a good dick-munching old time at the movies.

That movie simply didn't work for me.  Shitty screenplay, no matter what the Academy said.  There was amazingly fertile soil there, and she grew tired stereotypes.

Try Paul Vanderhoeven's sci-fi flicks for some quick hits of kinky eroticism.  Not more than teases, but nicely done.  Starship Troopers and that Schwarzenegger on Mars thing whose title escapes me.

'Sirens' has a bunch of women running around naked, does that count?? Their was that movie out last year as well about the guy who had a collar on, he was a martial artist, violent movie, I can't remember the name of it.

The Govanator was in 'Total Recall' I think that is the movie that TheHeretic is thinking of.

I second POTO, its such a powerfull stuggle, and it has Gerard Butler DAMN.

{writes down the names of the movies listed above}

I am currently watching Cinderella Man.  I have mixed feelings about Russell Crowe, but this movie is simply awe-inspiring and well acted by everybody involved.  Renee Zellweger is amazing.

I really enjoy his flashbacks to visions of his children when he is having a difficult time in a fight.  The director's attempt to portray him as a man devoted to survival and his family.

I am not sure this is the case, but I tend to think the whole thing about male-ness is conflicted.  He has to win.  He has to protect his family.  He has to do whatever is required for his life to succeed.

It is on my list of must-see movies.
