Status: offline 		How has your experience with Catholic school impacted your play / sessions of BDSM?

Having gone through 9 years of it growing up I found it definitely affectted the beginning of My twenty plus some years of play in BDSM

What are the most delicious taboos you have come to mind?

Status: offline 		My sub is Catholic and use to be a Catholic school teacher.  Although I am not Catholic I can really see where it has a huge effect on her.  Being her first Dom and her being new to everything I think the BDSM play has really hit hard on her Catholic side by allowing her to not take responisibility for what takes place and it has also obviously opened her eyes to a whole new sexuality.

Status: offline 		I think Christian schools tend to turn out a high rate of perverts--not necessarily sexual deviance but all of my partners attended some form of a christian school. I know that attending a private Christian school for K4-12 affected me in every aspect of my life--including sexuality.

Status: offline 		I went to Catholic school every year through high school.  I don't think it affected me aside from thinking I needed to think for myself.

Status: offline 		I went to private Catholic Schools back when the Nun's hit you with books on your back for daydreaming, made you kneel on uncooked hard peas in the corner for talking, and whacked your knuckles for doodling.
I don't think anything that happened in school was kinky though.
I do think it has a lot to do with my ability to respect authority appointed to be over over me without too much resistance.
Over all I think most Catholic girls are no more promiscuous than other faiths or people with no faith.
I think the promiscuousness comes from doing the opposite of what your parents teach you in adolescent puberty more than just because of your schooling paths.
Catholic girls just try to hide their slutty side.

Status: offline 		Honestly, I would say that going to Catholic school (and then becoming a nun) eradicated anything at all taboo about the church.  When you are that familiar with it, it just doesn't seem so deliciously naughty...

I would say that my background of having previously been Roman Catholic has instilled a very strong appreciation and longing for high ritualization.

Status: offline 		I have a schoolgirl skirt that I got from an actual school uniform supply company.  I wore it to a party, at which time my top said it was the exact same shade and type of plaid that his high school used to have.

Status: offline 		i went to catholic school for nine years (kindergarten through 8th grade). i can't say it's especially affected my interest in bdsm, although catholic schoolgirl fantasies can be fun :P it's of course impacted my spirituality in both positive and negative ways (mostly positive, because i wasn't raised catholic and so don't really have the psychological hangups about it that many with negative experiences do), so that indirectly affects my sexuality because the two are linked for me, but i don't see any direct connection between catholic school and bdsm for me.

I was told by the nuns that if you thought of doing a sinful thing that it was just as bad as doing it.

So I figured if I was going to hell for thinking of it I might as well do it.

Status: offline 		Catholic school has totally turned me off the "stern lecture" portion of any proposed Dominant's "program". I was caught several times smoking cigarettes in the bathroom of my high school (by the Principal, no less), and forced to endure hour upon hour of stern lecturing about how bad smoking is. As if it did any good - I only quit smoking a few years ago (I am 46, and will be 47 in a few weeks).

So why is it one that might represss and attack ends up replaying it through sessions?

The uncooked peas is a new one for Me. Yes the remembering of yardsticks was very promidant. Still have your uniform?

I believe it was denial and repression of the nun's part.

Why did you go and then why did you leave?

Yes ritualiation was and still is very delicious for Me...I hated it when they stopped the Latin Mass.

i went to one in VA for 6 months and was kicked out.....

hasnt changed me abit
