my advice - clearly state in your profile what you are actually looking for on the site you join and look/read carefully every profile that contacts you ....never give out any private info about yourself unless you feel very comfortable with this person. so will send you all their private info in their 1st message to you (enough to open an account in their name)- had one guy tell me he wanted to meet him alone at his place, i quickly turned him down.

I was on PLENTY of FISH and tried different things..
I listed things in the interests section like rope..
female led relationship...
I indicated I was a "take charge woman"..
 
and I got a LOT of questions...rudeness and really socially inept responses from those seeking one night stands..
 
also many who wanted to talk on and on about "what woudl you do to me?"
 
**WHEN I put Venus*on *Top as my user name..refered to the website( for which I was eventaully deleted from the site)
I got some really GOOD responses from genuine and serious men..
some knowledgeable..some curious..I met 2 and ended up with one as a PT playmate for a while..
 
If you do this then you need to be QUICKER at weeding out  or discerning possibility..and to know MANY will not know anything about polite protocol..or manners
 
I also feel and have been told that sites such as the above ( and yes CM too)are filled with abusers who can lure in the naive  and curious with a bit of BDSM talk...
I talked to one man who is on CM and POF who had a young woman under his spell and servicing his buddies and him for months when she DID NOT WANT TO...thinking this was how a BDSM relationship worked..

Status: offline 		i did it once on E-Harmony a long time ago & they said they couldn't help me at this time.  lol  Then awhile ago i had an ad on craigslist before i met Sir on collarme.com.  Well, the ad itself was very, very subtle with hardly even any hints, but the header said "Looking for Local Dominant."  It was on for two days before it got flagged and bumped, then i put it back on and it got flagged and bumped again in two more days.  In four days i got 31 answers, all but one from local Doms in my town.  For one reason or another, W/we just didn't click......personality differences, some were still married, W/we were looking for different things, etc etc.  Anyway, i got fantastic number of responses.

Status: offline 		If you're going to use any of the 'nilla sites, I'd recommend OKCupid.  It's far more kink (and poly) friendly than the others.

Status: offline 		When I post a profile on a vanilla site, I just alter the one I have here regarding who I am and what is important to me. The kink and lifestyle stuff is mentioned under:

1. I live a Pagan and Victorian Period Adult Lifestyle.
2. I am married and we are a poly home with both my wife and I being dominants.
3. I am seeking a lady who is by nature submissive.
4. My interests include:
  • Body decorations with needles.
  • Rope, Leather and Chain art.
I get people contacting me seeking additional information but so far, although there have been a number of possible good replies none live in my area.

I have found that leaving out the terms: BDSM, slave and other defining kink references means I have no rejects from the site management.

In most aspects of my life, I'm very easy going.  In others, very domineering.  If you tell me to do something, I'll smile and act like I didn't hear you.  If you ask nicely, most anything can be arranged.
