Thank you for the defense, but it is not nessesary, i have learned to live whit pepole more interested in being funny on somone elses expense than having a good conversation, if they wonder what a word i ahve mispelled means, they can ask me, if not, and they just want to make fun of me, i can not stop them, and i do no longer let myself be botherd, it show their childishness not mine.

Thank you, i am sorry for the things i said to. And i do try to write as good as i can, but it is not always easy, i have light reading and writing disability and i dont speak English as my first luangunage, it is learned later. But i hope i will eventualy inprove.

I haven't had anyone limit my interactions on here, but I can see an argument why a Dom may limit it for some.  I tend to directly confront my concerns.  I have seen a few subs & slaves air their anger at their Doms before discussing it directly with them.  I personally feel like that's not a good thing to do, and I would hope their Doms help them to work on face-to-face confrontation.

i would be so....pissed off, ha ha....i would not want to be with someone who didn't allow me to chat online or hang out in the forums....it is a part of my life i enjoy and...well..... in a good relantionship shoulden't both people want the other to be happy?.... i can understand a Dom being upset if his sub was saying bad things about Him/Her... but as long as they are just here for fun and advice then it is not hurting anyone..... for those who said things along the lines of "my slave would not have time, they would be too busy serving me" *not a direct quote...just a general one* ...well...maybe that is one reason i se myself as a sub and not a slave...i have other stuff to do, and other things i enjoy.....

I am a trust freak. That is most likely why I haven't run into Miss You-Might-Do. I need to trust her in all endeavors. I do not want to have to micro-manage anyone or ever have to question the trust I give her. That said, I will trust here, there, and everywhere.

Reading through this thread it strikes me, that everyone is either in long term relationships or quite experienced, thus knowing their needs, limits etc. I do not think I can give a single answer to the question of limitations of any kind. It would depend entirely on my best estimate of what would be best for the slave, me and our relationship.

Sir is probably annoyed with this forum, inadvertently.  I have questions constantly now.  LOL.  And He doesn't always have time to answer them, being out of the country working.  But they have also been wonderful because I miss Him, and this is a pleasant distraction.  So long as I get everything else done that I am supposed to, of course.  [:)]  I think that would be the only reason He would limit my internet usage.  Uh oh, gonna have to go ask now.  [;)]

I share some of the forum stories with my subs and we have
a good laugh.  There was a previous instance on another
e-mail list, where one person was behaving in a very
agressive, nasty manner towards my primary submissive.
He became very upset and was ordered to leave the situation
alone and no longer have contact with that individual.

My Master trusts my activities here, and allows it so long as they don't interfere with service to him, work, school, or other obligations.  He does not monitor my posts, although sometimes I'll send him a link to a thread, or will send him something I have written to ask his input on.

When he first began training me, he limited my communication online for reasons were appropriate for me at the time.  Despite everyone accusing him of being a micro-managing control freak, he knew exactly what he was doing, and it worked out well for us.  If he ever chose to remove me from online, off I'd go.  He has limited real-time social interactions before, and will continue to as he sees fit.

I trust and observe posts because her thoughts interest me. Since, I don't see her for long stretches, it is a treat in a way to read her thoughts thrown out to the world instead of those only directed to me in email. When you start limiting online activity, it means you have reason not to trust which is indicative of a deeper problem with her or yourself.

The problem with the OP question is you are asking the choir if their master is allowing them to sing!  If they didn't give them permission, then they wouldn't be here to answer these questions now would would they? 

But if most masters did monitor their sub/slave's posting then that would inhibit a lot of good questions being asked, or free to respond to with the kind sharing of experience...both good and bad.  Such requests for impute/ideas/perspectives do in many cases allow the sub/slave to better formulate their concerns with their master in advance of bringing something up, or even resolve such concerns so they would not have to be brought up in the first place, thus demonstrating their ability to handle smaller issues on their own, with impute from the group members that is.  In addition, one might have questions to ask that actually have nothing to do with their dom/master and relationship, but is simply curious about knowing... yet one could have a D/M that was so sensitive that they assumed it was about them, or something they actually wanted to experience, yet if so that is not a bad thing if he/she is open to considering new limits or methods. 

But some of this "contamination" is bound to happen on occassion when both types are in one forum, and oppositely think it is in general good to get some "other side of D/s coin" views as well..  And besides that, any decent M/D should be able to tell when they have a problem in their relationship without looking over their s/s's keyboard shoulder.  It's one thing to guide and control, and another to smother without some fresh air of knowledge and pespectives.

I can't imagine why a Dom/me would want to limit his/her sub's interaction on forums like this.  If anything I would see such thing as an education resource and would WANT them to post.  But maybe I'm just a crazy sub.  ;)
