Morning and greetings,

Congrats, quite an accomplishment.   Never miss Westminster, someday I'd love to go and just be there, in the excitement of it all.   While Coco was cute I'd like to see a big dog win this year.  Maybe Josh's offspring.  That was awesome the year Josh won.  Soooo Newfie!   I had a Newfie, what wonderful dogs.

GeekyGirl,
I have dogs instead of kids too, they are so devoted and faithful and when you get tired of them you throw them in their cage! Mine are spoiled rotten 2 chihuahuas and a Mini Poodle. Congrats with your dog and I hope he goes all the way!!

I have two chihuahuas in the house, plus a sheltie, and two mix breeds that tend to stay outside. I also live on the same property as my parents and they have a Chi and a mix breed. My chi's especially are so great and so loveable! I don't know what I'd do without them...

Oh he is just too cute, GeekyGirl!!!

I am a huge doggie fan!! I have two doggies myself (one is a Beagle - and I think he's "pretty enough" to perhaps have been in dog shows, but now he is waaay to fat (my fault), so he cannot). The other is a "mutt" (but looks mostly like a Golden Retreiver) - and I love him just as much!

I Love dogs!

I always, always - every year, watch the Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show on tv- I wish your doggie good luck!

Unfortunately, at this point - I think she has either been adopted by people who don't know she is missing, or got hit by a car or something like that. I mean, she's been missing a long time at this point. It's too bad, too.

OMG how scary! I certainly hope nothing like that happens to gandalf! His current owners would be devastated!

I didn't hear about it last year.  The story is making all of the newspapers, it was in the local paper today.

Well the bad news is that he didn't win the breed today...but I'm still super proud of him for even being invited!

If anyone wants to see the video from the show , it's here:

http://www.westminsterkennelclub.org/2007/video/breed/index.html

Scroll down to nonsporting group, click american eskimo dog.

His handler is the sort of heavy set red haired lady.

Good luck to your dog! May the fur on his ass stroke the Goddess of Victory and win you a big loving cup. I love dogs, but sometimes the people are the problem, eh?
