ORIGINAL: sleazy Tell you what real....... There is a perfectly good, totally anonymous way to post confidential info to the net, and it was even mentioned in this forum. Wikileaks. Enough said. Failing that I know of several other folks who have no obejection to publishing credible classified info, and I have seen one of them referenced by you I believe. well since i got involved in this a friend of mine had a little talk with me. She warned that its not a real brite idea to either post it, keep it, or download anything like that in the future considering the current laws on wire tapping and internet spying here in america. Most likely the same advice you would give one of your "friends". now i am not a real paranoid guy but that made sense and i took her advice, and we both know that you know that nothing on the net is anon to those with the right equipment and policing authority. i have yet to see anything stamped secret posted on here do site it for me if there is. So thats my decision and no amount of badgering me is going ot change it. nuff said Too late, you already had it, its logged (perhaps), the cat is out the bag so you may as well go ahead and publish as many others have done. That way should you dissappear one night or have an "accident" we all know who to blame & can go shout it from the mountain. Heck if you are of that much interest to the feds posting one little file is the least of your problems. On the flip side of the coin, it is highly unlikely the Feds would bother with little old you. Do not forget the biggest problem of gathering such data, namely information overload. With all the theorists loose on the interweb the chance of your few data packets being analysed and traced are, well lets face it, go read the 9/11 commission report to find out just how swamped with info the agencies are and realise that your chances of getting the knock on the door are so near zero as to be not worth doing the maths. So in short, you either have nothing to fear, or you are so deep in the doo-doo it makes no difference if you publish something that is both erronously reffered to and already out there in many places. That is exactly the advice I would give as a professional too (you really dont want to know how much I charge for that normally!).
