Here we are on the seizure law- slippery slope. 1st billed as a way to fight drugs. Now- Americas most liberal city- LA, is seizing the auto/truck that a man who solicits a prostitute in! How is prostitution different then alimony? diamonds? dinner and dance? FKKK the govts seizure laws! How DARE they! (your turn, jump in-)

In Los Angeles...no idea what LA means. They will seize your car if you are driving without your drivers license. There are plenty of laws out there....so why not seize your car if you are breaking the law while in it?

The way I understand that law, the property owner need not be guilty of a crime in order for seizure to occur. If for instance a tenant of a leased home is involved in drug dealing, the building may be seized despite the landlord knowing nothing about the crime. Maybe people should try fighting fire with fire. Say like planting a small crop of weed in the mayor's back yard, then informing the police of the crop. If they fail to seize the property, call the media and rant about the mockery of justice.

Even in our small town they will seize your car if caught with over an oz of weed or few pills with out a scrip for them...this is an another tax on the people and again it supports of local police with operating funds so they can continue to do this..Just fine their ass and leave their property alone...I don't condone drug usage I support the rights of the people....BH

here in Chicago not only will they impound your car for solicting, they will also add your name, address and photo on a website so your family, friends and co-workers. Chicago also conduct police stings sometimes in high traffic areas around town. in a suburb called Cicero and other surrounding burbs, they will publish your name, address, make and model of your car, where you were arrested and the name of the motel in a weekly newspaper

they're trying to clean up that image now that ex-Mayor is serving time in a fed pen in Nevada. well now Chicago's the mecca of corruption - most of it about a doorstep away from the da Mayor but he denies any involvement.

Well the parents sued, awards multi millions. SOOOOOOOOOOO- every homeowner got a special assessment on their tax bill- of $500.00. All for a book mobile. Can you imagine how many books a town of 60,000 + per $500 a house-could have bought? when i lived in Chicago- it got to the point that i stopped reported crimes that happened to me. it did no good. oh cool love lattes and i don't mind you're gay. i know a few myself. come to town during the gay pride parade - the after parties are a blast! there's so much corruption surrounding the Mayor this year that it's a known fact he'll be re-elected again for a 5th term. the other candidates don't stand a chance.

PA is like my 2nd home ...Reading, State College, Harrisburg , Huntingdon (love my uncle's house on the mountain), Philly, Pitts - it's great to have family living there. doing 85mph through the mountains as the sun goes down just to get to Harrisburg in one day. most liberal city - certainly not Chicago. we have the most corruption from dirty cops to city workers including the mayor but he denies everything.

My friend jenny isnt allowed to have male friends. So i dont know alot about 2007 chi. BTW- my best friend was to a few conventions at mccormick place. He was impressed with how efficient things went. The meeting let out early- so 50 ??? people needs a taxi. with in a few minutes taxis were there. in terms of conventions- Chicago runs its act- as a class act. of course navy pier, mich av, the gold coast- all immaculate- not a piece of litter. police presence. Also- let me say this. Chicago does a HORRIBLE job at disabled parking spaces. The museums have them. But teh neighborhoods- say belmont-milwaki, NONE. some of the good shops are there. Have you ever been to the elephant thrift store? Is it still there?
