I'm in charge of the NCQ Dept. during the night shift.  Please ask your silly question and deposit ten cents into your "A" drive...

....personally, I've learned to not get mad at Mods, and not get too dramatically involved in forum posts...  Having a life is much more fun, so I invite all without to get one, esp. those grinding axes...

This offered as an homage to the "Moderators" thread.... and where the hell did all my butter go?

My question is

How in fk do I explain to the PC repair man that there is a ten cent coin jammed in my A drive?

No need, just turn it on it's side and shake really hard.  If that doesn't work maybe a really strong magnet.

You still have an A drive?  Perhaps you should just recycle the computer and join the 21st century.

Only one A drive still here, out of goodness knows how many drives on these three PCs! Still think theyre cool, though coolest ever is my memory stick thing. If only I could get the cup holder to work.

Had you buttered that dime, it would slide in and out rather nicely...

I debated using "A drive" as a suggested coin receptical, since they are disappearing from pcs...

Perhaps we could all pool our dimes and come up with a really, really important question to ask the Powers That Be?

Silliness abounds...

Never ever get upset or emotionally involved from anything you read in cyber space. Moderators have a unrewarding and thankless duties and are making decisons for what is best both in a short and long term of a message board. I think the moderators on collar me do in incredible job consider the nature of the subjects that get brought up here. I post on several vanilla type boards and wish the moderators on them were half as good.

NCQ... is my "B" drive (little floppy disk) now the replacement for my old "A" drive (old big floppies)? And if so, where did my "B" drive go? My hard-drive is the C-drive, My DVD is the D drive, the CD burner the E drive, My iPod is the G drive... I'm lost...

What?! Someone stole my A: drive?  Do they have something to call it back with?...like a dog whistle.  Don't worry B:, C:, D:, E:, F:, and G:...we'll find him.  I tried the buttered dime thing with the USB port though, smells like popcorn

I think it's common knowledge that you should use plenty of lube when diming your floppy drive.

*glancing up at the avitars for HydroMaster and ToServeIsToLive*....

NCQ... The IT Department here look strangely similar, why is that? Do dragons honestly make the best technicians?  Although, I don't know about their suggestions on diming my USB port or my floppy drive using lube or butter.   I beleive it's common knowledge that CRISCO is the only thing that works.  Besides, have to use those trans-fats someplace now.

Isn't it obvious the claws are great for holding multiple CD's when installing sofware. You should see my cousin DJ Red Dragon, it's amazing. The scales are good for aborbing shocks when we forget to unplug the CPU.  Plus the fire breath makes short work of old PC's....no need to take up spave in a landfill when you can melt it down to slag.

Well, crisco tends to get a little sticky after it sits in the USB's too long.  Again, a little fire breath and the butter turns nice and crispy and practically falls out.

Come to think of it, an all-dragon IT department would be great at keeping would-be "tinkerers" in line...

I will keep that in mind about the butter... now, I have to get the CRISCO out of my USB port... will never get my flash drive to work now...

And I still haven't found my B-drive... Is that where this elusive cup-holder is supposed to go?

Isnt the "A" drive that one in back that needs to be adequately lubed or your computer makes moaning noises when you plug in your USB?
