True enough Cyberdude - provocative is in the eye of the beholder. And I wasnt laughing btw.

I see huge issues with this, along the lines of the crazy "violent porn images" law they have planned for here; its so subjective as to be meaningless.

Under the proposed US bill, I could argue that a livery sales brochure showing a picture of a 12 year old girl in riding boots with a crop in her hand would be provocative, after all; for some, it undoubtedly would be, whilst for most of us we see it for what it is, a means of advertising riding gear.

Nice post Cyberdude....I think like most American's I really want to like John McCain...However, I saw an interview last year where he said there was nothing wrong with "intelligent design" being taught in schools...and now this!!!  Maybe those days in the camps took more of a toll than anyone realized....I really dug this guy in the past. He was a true hero, modest, soft spoken yet had an underlying toughness and  he seemed to have a rational view of the landscape of this country....It's kind of like learning Santa doesn't  exist....Bummer!...Come back John McCain. You were at one time a voice of reason....Maybe he fell on his head...or his body has been snatched?

out.

In a fascist society, fear is used as an excuse to expand government powers. And the people don't mind. Because the people care more about the safety and security of their families and themselves than their freedoms. This is how the Nazi party took over Germany so easily, and so fast. And over the past decade, the government and media has done a terrific job of teaching the American people to fear Islam, terrorism, and child preditors.

Ain't that the freaking truth?
