Very nice thread thus far will try not to screw it up....Might sound a little creepy...But every now and then I enjoy taking a stroll through a cemetery,,The older the better. If you ever get a chance to go to Wrigley Field there is Graceland cemetery at the corner of Clark and Irving Park Rd....Marshall Field is buried there, other famous Chicagoans, along with one of my heroes, Jack Johnson.(Boxer who fought at the beginning of the 1900's) Great man! they recently did a show of his life on PBS...If you get the time you should google his name and read what this guy endured. Amazing person.
It's interesting just strolling through and noticing how on particular dates and years many children died...flu...disease etc...It is a humbling experience. Seeing the gravestone of a child who died in 1865 at the age of three....Rather mind boggling.
Was going to end this post with something absurd...Don't really feel like it now. It was going to be really sick and funny.
out.

p.s. Jesus bless us all with a long and happy life.

i have lost several family members myself, been at the death bed of a few, and i volunteer with Hospice... there is no greater honor, in my opinion, than being with a person as they transition from one life to another. It keeps me humble and grateful and has taught me, as cjenny so aptly put it, not to "blink"...
