I'm starting to think that joining one of these sites, looking around a little and then starting (yet another) "fakes", "wannabes", "pretenders", etc. thread is the insecure person's way of saying, "LOOK AT ME, I KNOW WHAT I'M TALKING ABOUT!!!!!"

Nah, I start all the fake profiles threads with one of my fake profiles....otherwise any thread I start as real and true Ron gets moved to polls and random stupidity immediately.....

This is just my way of asking serious and life altering questions here on the board.

I just had a thought. The OP was from India I believe - what if the letter e has the sound "eer" in India?

We could have made a terrible mistake, and he might just have been complaining about too many holy men having profiles on CM.

Might be. Perhaps he saw all those ropes and mistook their purpose, thinking we use them to climb to heaven. Come to think of it, some subs do use them to climb to heaven...

We get up at 12:00 and start to work at 1:00; take an hours break and then at 2:00 we’re done. Jolly good fun! Ha ha ha…ho ho ho and a couple of tra la las that’s how we work the day away in the mary old land of…..excuse me please; I have some work to do.

There is nothing good by making gross generalizations or making everyone who reads your profile or you send a message to guilty of being a fake until proven otherwise. Very few sincere people are going to get put down like that from a complete stranger, especially if their inbox has plenty of other people interested in them and willing to give them some respect.

I for one think it is pretty easy to read a profile and figure out if the person is a “fake”. If all you are getting is “fake” from your profile and messages I would strongly suggest looking inward and not lashing outward and expecting other people to fix your problems. Try making a great effort and well rounded profile. Write personal messages to profiles that also put in the effort and seem sincere and not write anyone close by or have a picture you find attractive.

Being dominant does not mean the world is there to make it easy on yourself and because the person did not do what you want, disappear, reply, say no after you insisted on cam after one message and any other of this type of thing does not make them fake and any system to “verify” they are real will not eliminate probably 90% of the people most people rail against as being fake on these sites. They are not fake they just did not want you and maybe made it clear in a rude manor or what you thought was a rude manor.
