Butt zits.
Does it repulse you to see them?
I've asked my Domme about this and she says she doesn't care...I guess that's what is really important but I figure things can't go as rosey as they could if I feel down about my skin.

So my other question, for those who have experience is...how does one get rid of them?
They make me sad.
I mean how much fun can it be to spank a yucky butt...

A good massage with cocoa butter then a nice session of sensual knife play removes impurities from the skin well, chuckles.

dear jingy
you  think zits are yucky ,but ,if you think ,as a top and, skin is skin ;you tan ;you stretch; you  walk on;hang; sit on, etc; you preserve; you oil ,and ,take care of ;it's your trophy! ; and, zits are part of it ;like  a cow; or horse hide;that makes it real;but ,i agree swet-pustules are not desirable, so try ,to alchohol ,or wear lighter underware ,and ,it clears up;it may be hormones too, so don't swet the small stuff ;it ,bothers no one as much as you ; an az is an az; be it loved or not ;has abosolutely ,nothing to do ,w/ the flying slothed off bio-matter while you're being smaked.
trust me :i'm an experineced qualified underground observer ,at the nyc vault who asked the same questions under the hot lites bare az myself.....

-I had a rash- my Chiropractor noticed it- told me to wash it with head and shoulders type shampoo. Lo and behold- it cleared it up with in a week.

Well, I can't give you my opinion since I'm not the one doing the spankings [;)] but, as a woman who shaves (hmmm... private areas) and has very sensitive skin and can get bumpy/rashy/pimples from shaving sensitive skin, I'll tell you want I found works for it... Tend Skin... burns like a (words I'm going to refrain from using here)... because it's made with alchohol and Salicylic Acid.  Supposed to help prevent ingrown hairs, I buy it at Sephora, and it's usually located in the mens grooming section.

I usually use that right after shaving and then if it's really bad, I also apply hydracortosone later in the day (once I stop dancing around the bathroom saying ooh... ahh... ouch as the TendSkin dries) .  TendSkin is usually all it takes though... stuff is gold to me!  Good Luck.

You might try changing your diaper more often... [;)]

Seriously though, I just read an article the other day which said that pimples on the buttocks is sometimes a symptom of intestinal parasites.

LuckyAlbatross -> RE: Skin care, do you care? (2/5/2007 2:48:27 PM)

Such is life.  Some people are simply prone to getting them.  As long as they are taking care of the skin and cleaning it, it's not a problem to me.  If it gets to a certain point, they can go to the doctor and see what else can be done.  But it would have to be a fairly extreme case over a prolonged period to have a truly negative effect.

I have cystic acne myself and work to keep it under control, and that's on my face where everyone sees everyday.

sensualmagirl -> RE: Skin care, do you care? (2/5/2007 3:18:20 PM)

LA... a bit off topic here... ignoring the funny comments about the shaving sensitivity help I offered... lol... Tend Skin is a miracle I tell you for that kind of shaving sensitivity.

Anyhoooo... what do you like for Cystic Acne? I am using a couple of things prescribed by my doctor for that as well as this line from Australia she sells in her office, but, I'm always looking for more ideas, as I didn't develop this until I was in my 30's and is kind of new to me.

Thanks!

Lots of water, and actually I use the pro-activ system.  Some people don't like the smells and textures, but I'm used to it now.  At first, it clears out the white heads and small ones quickly, and a few large hard ones pop up.  But after a few weeks of regular usage, I notice tremendous improvement.

It can be drying to the skin, but again, lots of water and moderating what you use and adding on some non-oily moisturizer helps me with that.

Some people find a lot of success with birth control or straight up antibiotics.

And, of course, keep stress as minimal as possible :)  Mine are totally due to stress on its own AND I am a skin picker which gets worse when I'm stressed.  So, keeping stress down and control of touching my skin helps a lot.

sensualmagirl -> RE: Skin care, do you care? (2/5/2007 5:31:35 PM)

Thank you... I've tried pro-active years ago, didn't work at the time... but, I might give it a go again with the prescriptions I have (topical antibiotics and Retin-A)

Well zits generally come from sweat and dirty pores........ try showering every day and even twice a day.  Use Rubbing alcohol...... erm......... i heard that applying perfume/cologne to zit areas helps as it has a drying affect....

Your issue is you have sweat and oil.  Get rid of it.  Toothpaste does that too and stings!  Get home acne kits and apply it to your problem area........  get a GOOD acne kit as well.. dont skimp, they're priced for all ranges, might want to do research on the net for the best.  Pro active is good and they have off brands of it too.

Plus airing out yer buttucks helps too.  I generally try and keep my genital area... aired..... because i heard it also keeps yeast infections and all sorts of other things to a minimum.  I tend to try and walk around with my stuff swaying in the breeze (with decency)  Long shirts that come to my knees/ no panties or very airy shorts.

ALSO jeans tend to sort of close off the air way for your skin so you dont have much breathing room.  Try and stay out of non breathable clothing (boxers are good) and try and keep from sitting on your butt alot as it also doesnt give your rear a chance to breathe.

So - a good healthy hygiene regime, a good healthy acne regime, airing out your parts as often as you can, and low sodium foods

Oh and did i say certian foods make one more prone to zits?  High in sodium foods, sodas.. ect.  You can research that one.

Can you tell i abhor zits on my body?   All of this works so long as its not a medical issue.

Word of caution - do not use Tend Skin if exfoliating.  Two years ago this resulted in some pretty hefty chemical burns for me.

I exfoliate and use Nutrogena body oil to keep things soft.

After living through puberty myself at one period in time.  Doing my own research.  I think this is all excellent advice.

The fact you are still quite young is probably a main reason for your issues.  I'd drink much more water, it cleanses the skin from the inside out.  Also check into what you are eating...usually main culprits for acne.
If all else fails see a dermatologist.
