I am so negative that I think you are lame lying in bed thinking about Collarme.  lol [sm=lol.gif]

I have been known to be negative, and I certainly do come across that way often in forums.  However most of the time I tend to be positive and upbeat around my friends.  I go through phases... moods if you would.

i didnt hear anything terribly abnormal in what you said.
i think it depends on the outcome.
If for the most part the outcome of your thoughts are negative or not to your liking then your "speculations" are true and its not negativity is it?

If most of your speculations are incorrect and outcomes do not turn out poorly then you are most likely is leaning into the negativity side of things.

When i talk with people about this subject i always suggest sober.  Not gleeful joyous happy happy happy optimism and not omg the world is going to end pessimism.  Simply sober.

Try to stay as hard as it might be nuetral.  look at the pros and the cons in every situation, keep track to see how close the result is to your expectations or nuetrality of nuetral.

Nuetral will have the least effect in scewing the outcome one way or the other.

If you need write down your track record and if you are correct most of the time and most of the time negative things are happening then its a dose of reality and you are on target.   In which case you may want to make changes in your life to obtain more positive outcomes. and beware that you are not a creator of self fullfilling prophecies which will paralyse you, in which case you would be your own worst enemy and sabotage yourself at every corner.

Anyway thats sort of an easy one that you can fix yourself if you are vigilant with yourself, like quitting smoking.

good luck...

It is hard to avoid being negative. To me life is one kick in the teeth after another, but the sun comes up the next day and you can try to make the best of it. Even while you are getting your teeth kicked down your throat lol. I dont mind someone airing negative thoughts to get it off their back, but if they keep harping at all times being negative, I have to avoid them so their cancer type of thinking to wear off on me. I change tables at work where I eat lunch from time to time because I end up with a bunch of constant gripers. It is a breath of fresh air. I have to go through the same crap they have to, so to keep my mind strong I seek out the positve vibe people. I tell family members that have to call me and non stop gripe straight up to quit griping, because they are not telling me anything new and they will not do nothing about it and I do not want to hear it.

I never asume any thing, but i always plan for a negative out come, because a least i'll be aware of it, ready for it and be in a position to do some thing positive with it. So my glass is alway half empty so i can look for a way to fill it to the top before it becomes empty rather than just suddenly finding an empty glass.
