micheledoes -> hello all (1/23/2007 1:55:57 PM)

hello -- i've posted a profile describing as well as i can (which is not very well) myself. i write that a little reluctantly, because i keep surprising and mystifying myself as i continue down this bdsm path.

left to my own devices, i seem pretty naturally drawn towards domming and to sub women. but whenever i encounter an appealing switch, my sub/bottom side seems to just blossom, and i can think of nothing else (i become preoccupied with submission). so i've come to the conclusion that "who i am" is not a very easy question to answer.

i can say this about the switch/sub side of me: it's very powerful and nourishing and occupies much more space (when it's there) than the dom side does (when it's there); it's wild and crazy -- my sub activity spectrum is a lot broader than my dom-activity spectrum.

and, most importantly, this "side of me" feels much warmer, softer, calmer and centered. emotionally, it makes me a better person -- more patient and more giving and less rigid. i love those feelings.

sorting through all this is half puzzle/half adventure, but i do want to sort it through. i believe in leading an integrated life.

one last thing -- my handle. "michele" (pronounced "meeKAYlay") is the italian version of michael. i'm not italian (irish/scottish/english), but speak it a little and love the country/people, and the woman who just recently handed back to me my submissive/bottom nature is italian. as to "does" (in micheledoes) -- ask me. ;)

humbly,

michele

Hello michele,

Your introduction and your profile are both very well written and very interesting.  It sounds like you are having quite an adventure in your your journey of self-discovery, at least in this aspect of your life.  Personal growth in BDSM or anything else in life is usually a puzzle and an adventure, which is what makes it exciting and fulfilling, in the end. Good luck and best wishes in your journey.

David
