For those into this fetish: Would/could you please tell me what it is that attracts you to feet? What do you see.. what draws you? When I'm told I have "attractive feet", I just look down and wonder what it is they see.

This is one of those things that goes beyond logic. It just is....like being gay or straight. But I'll take a shot at it. From a submissive standpoint it's incredibly servile and intimate serving at a woman's feet. Also female feet are gracefully tapered and shapely. But again, maybe that's just my personal jones.

I don't have a foot fetish. I do have a shoe fetish. I love heels. NOT ON HIM of course, but on me. It's something about the way they make me feel. I know most woman would probably feel ubber sexy in them but for me, I feel sort of like I'm showing off (kinda like red lipstick makes me feel). Anyway, the link between showing off and shame for some reason gets me hot. I was taught not to show off and only "those" kinds of girls would wear something like that, so it makes me feel like one of "those" girls plus adds the shame that a good girl would feel about doing it. Also being orderd to wear something like that sends me right into the right head space.

But...it's not a foot fetish persay.

The grace of a beautiful foot. I attended ballet as a child, and noticed feet a lot

that is where it started.

Then as a teenager, i discovered shoes! and now the two are closely linked for me.

Personally, im more into my feet being the object of someone's fetish, than another's being the focus of mine. If that makes sense. I would of loved to of met someone with this fetish. I didnt. But you cant have everything you desire. My particular interest is multifaceted.

This is understandable. One time when my slave was massaging my feet, he kept hitting an are just under the ball of my foot that caused a reaction that went straight to my clit. I just kept giggling whenever he hit it.

I've always had a dislike for my own feet because they are long and narrow and finding shoes was nigh on impossible and when found they were very expensive. (and yes, those are my feet in my profile pics).

Lotus.... Not really sure...??? I'm a borderline foot guy I guess? Don't crave the foot but definately can appreciate a womans nice little feeties (especially in stockings) and really like a "foot job" every once in awhile. It's what you like and prefer ... I love eyes too, but you can't really physically do anything with eyes without an adverse reaction (Ouch you dumbass, you poked me in the eye ;-)

As far as the submissive aspect of the foot fetish - it has to do with societies view of the feet. It's the lowest part of your body, it garner's the least attention (if you only have time to put on makeup or paint your toenails, which would you choose?) To submit to a Woman's "lowest" feature (don't flame the word choice please) is to show how much more you think of the rest of Her.

It's not that a man will get down and kiss your feet or how it feels when he is doing so, it is how it makes you feel (between the ears) that he appreciates you so much to do so.

I've heard that Women check men's shoes. If they are polished and well taken care of, it's a reflection on how he takes care of himself and things he considers important. Feet are generally relegated to 2nd class attention, they are often ignored over other areas, they can get dirty, smelly, sweaty, calloused, etc. Women have been known to spray perfume on their necks, breasts, etc. etc. How often have you heard of a Woman spraying perfume on her feet?

Even if the whole foot fetish thing is beyond you, if a man is willing to pay homage to what is "considered" to be one of the lowest features of the human body - take it as a compliment. (Of course, it depends on the guy - there's a difference between making you feel special ... which is important ... and making you feel creepy ... where you use those same feet to run away)

I've always said about sex, "it's not what I do between your legs that really matters, it's how it makes you feel between your ears that is the most important thing" The foot fetish should not be any difference.

And guys, if the foot thing isn't for you - find something, anything, that you can do to SHOW that your Lady is special. Talk is cheap, let Her feel your devotion.

I always hated feet - mens feet. Loathed them. Male foot phobia or something, who knows. The very first night I offered myself to my Master, he had me remove his shoes and socks, and lick his feet. High heels!!! I am with you... they make me feel sexy and taller. At 5'3" high heels are your best friend. Now, I dont have a foot fetish but I do enjoy being told I have nice feet. Something about it makes me feel graceful like a lady. Wheeee!! Lady like! Its just a different feeling from my DC shoes! No better feeling the a sexy pair of black high heels and corset.

I know this isn't what you're looking for, but I also have to agree with agoodboy's:

We really have very little control over what sexually arouses us.

Hi Lotus. Well let me see if I can shine some light on it. I like feet (Not too much of a Ferish), because of a woman's arch, the way her Ankle is shaped, and how good she looks, with her foot pointed.

Now like Drawtothedark, I am nmostly into shoes. Now Draw, since you like heels on you, how about Mary Janes? I have a nice pair of 4" Heeled Mudd Clunky Mary Janes, which would probably look GREAT on you !

Sirandlittle 1. You took BALLET ! WOW ! Nothing personal, but Ballerinas have some pretty messed up feet, from Pointe Shoes. But that is okay though, I LOVE Ballet too, and also wear Pointe Shoes, but not for too long. It is like Foot Bondage. Ballet Slippers are much easier to wear. I agree with you Ownedgirlie. I am not crazy about my feet, unless they are covered in Tights or Shoes, at which time, I think I am looking at Female Feet, which I don't get to see too oftern......in Mary Janes, Pointe Shoes or Ballet Slippers anyway.

I claim that a thread about feet is like the bat signal for me ;-)

I like feet for two reasons: (1) I have a fetish, and (2) attention to feet has D/s significance.

Aesthetically and for the fetish, I like them just as someone else might have a fondness for ears or hands. One theory I have read for how this fetish might evolve relates to experiences as an infant. Per this theory, when a crawling infant reaches a caretaker, the first part of the body encountered is feet. The comfort felt at this time could somehow evolve into a fetish. I neither fully accept nor reject this theory.

I do have a foot fetish, and I must say that you do have very pretty feet. I find feet to be very sensuous, especially when they are shapely, that is, nice arch, long toes. I have had a foot fetish for as long as I can remember, and kissing them is very fulfilling to me. There is also the feeling of being humble when down at a ladie's feet, and especially a lady who is more domineering. There is a lot of psychology behind the foot fetish, and as many different interests as there are people who have the fetish. Having been involved in a publication that dealt with this subject, I could write pages and pages about it. Hope that helps a little.

In psychology, a fetish is called "paraphilia." Whether it is an illness or a problem has been a subject of debate for many years. You can look under many books of psychological medicine and find very different definitions and opinions of fetishism.

There is agreement that if a fixation on something becomes so severe that it disrupts normal sexual function, it is a mental illness. In other words if you cannot become arroused by any other means but by the fixation, it is a mental health issue.

Why fetishes develop is unknown. For whatever reason, the brain has decided to link sexual stimulation to a particular object or body part. This link intensifies when orgasm is achieved during the fixation. Only thing known for sure is that when a fetish develops, it very rarely ever goes away.
