First of all, am I the only person who thinks it would be good to create a "Life Advice" or similar section just for all of these random requests for help?

Tech geeks, I require your assistance - is there any way to remove a Firefox add-on? I put in Ad Block Plus, but now I'm unable to get to the CollarMe chat rooms and this is quite frustrating. I attempted a system restore to before I had it, but WinXP said it failed because "no changes were made to my computer".

Open up your extension menu, its under tools.

Select the one you want to get rid of, and there should be an uninstall button on the bottom left.

Have you tried just fixing the options for adblock?  That should let you see the chatrooms again.  (Don't have a fix for that one, but I'm sure I could come up with it if you gave me some time)

to fix ad block ...if you click on options in the same pannel, (tools, then extentions) you should just have to delete the needed filter (just click then hit your delete button on the keyboard).. or just get rid of them all of you want.

edited to add:

second possibility, surf onto the site for the chatrooms.  Go to looks then adblock (should be right under themes, or at least it is for me.)  Then choose whitelist this page.  That should allow you to see everything.  You might have to reload it.. I've never done either of these so I'm really not sure.
