I had a hard time with this question and was going to write that I couldn't think of any advice I'd give a younger D/s me...but then I did think of something.

Having to live a life with secrets for fear of the repercussions to reputation, isn't worth it, no matter how important you think your job is. If your job cannot support your relationship, quit.
