Ladies always bitch and bitch to their friends that there is never any good guys out there, and they always end up with assholes who mistreat them. Well ladies next time you're bitching, maybe look up to see who you're bitching to, maybe that special someone is right there hanging on your every word as usual, screaming in his head "Why won't you give me a chance?"
Because the person you are usually searching for is right by you.

What struck me, is if you change parts of it, it could well be spoken by a "plain Jane", as much as a nice guy.

i thank you LadyEllen, i wish i knew the original author myself.  As for falling to the level of asshole; i can only say that i am not always a nice guy, for i am past letting another walk all over me.  i feel that since Chaingang went through the trouble of making such a post in one of my threads; he deserves no less than an honest accounting of my feelings, since he was kind and open enough to give an honest accounting of his.  i firmly believe in giving everyone the respect they deserve; no more, no less.

The problem with the guy, and I probably was like that guy at 18, not because I wanted to be like that, it was because I thought that was what women wanted, and it'd get me somewhere.

I appreciate that.  I thought you would take it in the spirit with which I wrote it.  It kinda wasn't meant to be that funny, but more about showing that there's another side, and that in cases like this (and we've all been there) Its really no one's fault, but likely 2 people who just arent meant for one another.  But yeah, Ive felt that "fuck you for not wanting me" kinda thing too. I think we all have at some point.
