Where would you go, and why?

Probably anyplace in Europe as I have never been there. Narrowing it, I would pick Italy. From what I have seen and heard it is beautiful, historic and the food!

I've got 2 trips in mind, both places I've never been:

1 Thailand -- ya know, it's one of them exotic oriental places . . . and I like the food
2 Palau -- it is supposed to be amazing for SCUBA

I have always wanted to go to Ireland.  Probably because my dads side of the family is from there.

I just went to Thailand not that long ago ... I promise you'll love it, just make sure you take a very good camera because the sights are amazing.
 
I want to go to both Spain and Cambodia.  My friends went to Cambodia, but my family was so freaked out, I followed their request and did not go :(  But I hope to be able to in the future.

I am feeling a bit contemplative this evening.

Part of me wants to go back to the Netherlands, where I lived for two years as a pre-teen.

The other part of me would love to be sitting and sipping cappucino with strumpet in Venizia, Italy.

Asia is usually at the top of my list, but tonight I dont want to see places, I want to experience culture.

I went to the cemetary in the town one side of my families parents came from in Denmark.

There was one of two last names on every headstone in the cemetary, going back 400 years.

Inbreeding.  I knew at that moment what was intrinsically wrong with me.

      I'd like to spend a few months in Alaska, just traveling and exploring in a good 4x4 loaded with camping gear and fishing tackle.

     I'd also like to go to Amsterdam with my parents, just so I could see my Step-Mother get stoned.

i would like to be on my aunt's screened-in porch in florida, where the scent of orange blossoms lingers in the air. i would like to relax on a chaise with a few good books and a tall glass of iced tea. oh, and i'd like for my aunt to mysteriously disappear so i could enjoy it.

One of my friends has done a ridiculous amount of traveling, and Cambodia is the only place that he has revisited. So it must be impressive 'cuz he's hard to impress.

For those considering Ireland, I highly recommend it. I toured around there on my bicycle and got 10 mpg -- miles per Guinness.
