OMG it is so pretty here on the Samammish plateau. However it took daughter 4 hrs to get home from Kent. This is usuaally a 45 minute commute. Almost home she got stuck on a hill and had to put chains on. My bowling league got cancelled for tomorrow morning though.

Snow? Whats snow? I seem to remember something white falling from the sky when I was a kid, but then I also remember believing that dolls and teddies came to life overnight too. E

Yeah, here in Kansas we are bracing for an ice storm to come in later tonight and be here through the weekend with snow by saturday through monday.....makes me glad i can't get out right now...feel sorry for those that will have to be in it.

So true. Here in Ma. the weather has been like spring/summer. Windows wide open in Jan. I love it

Here in Upstate NY, we have been having the same unseasonably nice weather everyone else has has but that all changed yesterday. I hate it! :-)

Please, no more snow, Seattle drivers can't drive in dry conditions. Add snow, and every street is 25mph. God, make the bad snow go away!

please send snow this way to Chicago - not having a white Christmas pretty much dampened the mood of the holiday season. it was too warm on Christmas. we're suppose to get flurries this weekend and colder temps - would rather have the snow than cold.

Upstate NY (Albany area), we've had light flurries lasting no more than a few seconds to a few minutes two or three times this year. Last week there was a day or two we were in the lower 70s/ upper 60s. EVERYONE has a head and chest cold and are saying it's because we haven't had enough cold to kill the mold spores. It's cold now (it was 23F when I got home from school last night). I'm of the opinion if I have to deal with cold it should also be white. I got a snow thrower last year and have yet to use it. Don't even get me started about the lack of quality snowboarding. I didn't move all the way up here so that I could have summers like NW Florida, dammit.

And now your storm is heading my way... DAMN! DAMN! DAMN! I live in Southern California! I'm not supposed to have to deal with this! And they'll close the freeways for a flake around here.

plan to move back to southern cali snow? nooooooo I moved to upstare new york to "experience" snow have experienced it ready to go home lol. Although we have only had a few days of snow this winter I hope it holds until summer when I escape

I really wish it would snow again here in Nebraska. It snowed about 5inches on New Year's eve, but then it all melted. It is so very cold now, that a pretty snowfall would make (to me) the cold more worth bearing, I think. - Susan

When it finally stopped we ended up with 11". Tonight the temp is dropping to around 15 so the roads will be a sheet of ice. Guess we stay home another day. Did get a long walk in, was so pretty and fun watching all the kids sledding.
