I checked my "favorites" the other day because I hadn't checked it in a long, long time. I was dismayed to find that several dozen people had been added. I almost never add favorites, and I haven't added one in alsmost a year. In fact, there were only for or five people there the last time I checked. Most of the people in my "favorites" were people I never added, nor would be interested in adding.

Can anyone tell me how this happens? Is it just a site glitch?

Perhaps you were looking at people who put you on their favorites list or some other list?

Otherwise, sounds like a question to ask tech support directly.

People who read your profile and like what they've read will add you to their list as a favourite. You have no say over who adds you and you can't delete them either. I have the same problem you do.

I've also been added to people's favourites list. This I don't mind when I've talked to them etc, but it's the ones that have never even sent me a 'hallo' that I don't get.

Look at it as people really like what you have to say about yourself.

If I recall correctly, I have two women on my favourites list. I added them because I liked their posture. I never sent them a message, because I am not looking for someone.

i've erased users who have added me to favorites by viewing their profile and clicking the hide button.

I wondered if there was some way to make the majority of the list go away.
